I had a Pro MAX Protec case which was light, but I felt like I needed an outer layer of protection in case my instrument had to be checked. Of course I'd rather always put it in the overhead bin when I fly.Looked all over and compared and found this case. Did not have a ton of reviews, and I couldn't find any professionals who used it. But then I got an Amazon gift card from my employer and decided to take a chance. The case was perfect. I have two instruments I will travel with - a King 2B and an Elkhart Conn 88H. I had pick and pluck foam inserts for each of them to snug them in the Protec case while traveling. Those inserts fit perfectly into this case, so there is no play whatsoever once they are in the case. The relatively narrow diameter at the bell end of the case and overall thinness allowed it to fit in the overhead compartment the first time I flew.I don't use the backpack straps because I already travel with a backpack. The case is very light and stands solidly on its end. The photo was standing on a train at DFW Airport.

Beautiful case, it just too large for what I needed. If there was a tenor trombone only version, I would definitely purchase it. Great Seller with awesome response time and assistance. *****

Product quality is excellent. Case is beautiful and just as described. 5 stars to start. Case arrived without keys to the lockable closure. Minus 1 star. Customer support number very difficult to locate, and when I did reach them, they made me do all the work of finding my order number and case description, and then emailing them to request the keys. They could have found all this information themselves during my phone call, and even then, how hard would it be to just send out the keys? I'm sure all the locks are the same. Minus 1 star. But I really like the case, and will be even happier when I get the keys. I give 1 star back. Final: 4 stars

Very nice quality for the price. All straps and buckles seem very well made and robust. Slim profile and classy looking. Great for an F-attachment or straight trombone.

I just bought a used 1950’s model King 2b liberty. The old case was shot. The 2b has a curved bell brace, so not every case will fit. This one fits it well. I love the shoulder strap. That’s a nice touch. Wish I had this nice of a case when I was in school. As far as carrying on and off of a bus, it would still be difficult for the small kid. A trombone just isn’t the easiest when it comes to busses no matter how you look at it. Been there done that, and waaay past that time of life. But I will never forget. 😂

This is a great case for a larger instrument than my tenor trombone. To clunky for my purposes but good quality if you have a f horn

I bought this case with no reviews so I will gladly make the first one!I got this case primarily for my King 3B. I wanted a nice fiberglass case that I knew would hold onto a smaller horn snugly (the thought of my trombone shaking around in a case really bugs me, so this was very important). I'm happy to say that this case does just that! And it is also capable of fitting my Bach 42bo.A few things I like about this case:- It's BEAUTIFUL. I love the way it looks and I'll be sad to get my first scratch, but hey!- Excellent build quality. It seems extremely sturdy and very well crafted. Latches are nice and tight and the leather handles are a nice touch.- I mentioned the secure fit for my King 3b. It has these foam pads (you can find in my pics) that can be moved around to 'customize' the fit. Some people might not like that, but I do. The slide compartment is also very secure. There is one thing though, and it's actually just kind of funny. If you're using the backpack straps and decide you want to switch to carrying it by your side, get ready for some noise. The metal clips of the straps colliding with the hard shell of the case sounds like a hyperactive game of billiards at full volume.I was initially nervous to drop $300+ on a case, but I'm very glad I did. Trombone cases are honestly REALLY expensive, and this is a mid-level price for a top-level product. Definitely recommend!!!
