First, this tool came packaged so professionally and it is surprisingly well made, for a $15 chopping tool. I rarely write reviews, but Iโm so happy I took a chance on this thing - itโs awesome. I feel completely safe using it because my hand is nowhere near the blades snd it makes quick work of the chopping and mincing I do, with my daily meals. Love the safety guard, when not in use.Refreshing, to be so thoroughly pleased with a product so reasonably priced.

Luxury packaging. Loved the hood that rolled over the blades for storage.

I don't often write reviews, although I read them before I purchase anything, this mincer is PERFECT. I tried the pizza cutter thing and it worked ok, but this little guy has 4 blades and a protecting cover that slides inside. You can also take the blades out (very easy) and put in dishwasher or wash by hand. It really works. I use mine in a curved wooden bowl instead of a flat cutting board. Then everything is right where you want it. Easy cleanup. You will not be sorry if you purchase this mincer. Oh I also chop lettuce with it.

This is an effective mincer that is well made and beautifully packaged so it would make a lovely gift. The materials are all high qulaity and the thought that went into the design enhance its usefulness. There are four very sharp mincing blades that are mounted to rotate independently of each other. There is a blade guard that you can pull down when it's not being used for safe storage. The blade housing pulls apart fromt he handle so you can wash it easier. I've run both through the dishwasher on the top rack with no issues. It makes short work of cutting both fresh and dry plant clippings. If you need to combine an assortment of clippings, just mince them together with this cutter and it will mix them for you.

I wasn't sure about taking this, as I didn't want another gadget sitting in the drawer, but this herb mincer is super useful! If you grow your own herbs, this tool will save you time and won't bruise your greens (as long as they are dry). The mincer has a great design with a safety cover that flips over the sharp blades. There are no extra or loose pieces to deal with. It does break down into three parts for easy cleaning under the faucet. Be sure not to touch teh blades. This would also make a wonderful gift to your favorite gardener. It comes in an attractive box. I am really glad I got this, as it makes me want to use even more of the herbs from my garden.

We have quite a few gourmet cooks in our family. Each of us has a gift that we bring to cooking. Something that a few of us has is the ability to make something work even if it is another use than originally intended. When it came to this mincer, well, none of us could think of a reason to make it work.WHAT IS THIS MINCER LIKE?The mincer is like a multi bladed pizza cutter. It has four blades that come out for cleaning. There is a plastic housing that slides down over the blades to keep you safe and them from cutting anything. The idea is that you roll it back and forth over herbs to cut them.HOW DOES IT WORK?We have tried this with a whole host of herbs from the garden- basil, oregano, rosemary, celery leaves, lovage, chervil, sage, fennel, and marjoram. That pretty much covers the gamut of herbs. The blades rolled back and forth over the herbs, and it was so much effort to cut them that we got frustrated and just used a large knife bouncing it up and down around the herbs and they were minced a lot better and quicker. The blades had some bent edges to them- slight but still annoying for the value. They seem sharp, but when cutting herbs, they just don't do much. It is a very frustrating item and WAY overpriced.THE BOTTOM LINEIf you want to use this in the kitchen for cutting herbs, good luck. With blades that seem sharp but don't cut, we found this implement to be a total waste of time. The price is way too high and functionally it is really bad. This is one of the few one stars I have given.UPDATESIf something happens and we figure out how to use this item in a way that works, I will update. For now, it is a waste of time and money.

The savora herb mincer works well. I used it on cilantro, parsley, and dried rosemary (always a pain to crumble or mince). At first I thought the wide setting of the blades might be a problem, but it actually minced very well. There was some bruising of the herbs, and it's better to work in smaller batches than a big pile. The blades are sharp. Again, I thought clean up might be an issue, but it wasn't. I would say be sure to at least rinse right after use, if the herbs dry on the blades it would be hard to clean.A functional and handy kitchen item.

If you use a lot of herbs in your kitchen this is an absolute must. I've tried a few mincers over the years and this has got to be my favorite. It minces the herbs nicely without smashing them or bruising them. Just nicely minced herbs to use in your recipes. It also breaks down for easy cleaning which is a huge plus. I don't believe in keeping needless gadgets in the kitchen but this one is definitely a must have for those who use a lot of herbs.
