I ordered these twice. Both times I got some good and some that their pen lights didn't work (dead battery?) They are so fun and really catch the imagination of a child. I only wish that they all worked! The price is inexpensive, so buying extra is not such a big deal...but it shouldn't have to be this way.

These are not pens. They are actually five point markers which can write on walls, paper, skin shirts, fabric, and the light the UV light on the end of the pen has a click easy to switch on and off for children and they work absolutely well. I strongly suggest this for the price you get four for under four dollars, fantastic gift bag suggestion .
