I'm getting into freediving and spearfishing, and this is essential gear.Made of nylon with a stainless quick-release buckle. Longevity TBD, but it feels sturdy and Cressi is a good brand.I recommend picking up some "keepers" - metal pieces so the weights don't slide around on the belt. It's especially helpful if you have non-coated weights that slide easier.

I put 40 pounds on the belt outside the water for excercise it does great and in the water it’s amazing easy release 5 stars

While I want it to be durable and heavy, it is so thick that my vinyl-coated smaller weights, the 2-3 pounds were not able to slide on because the rubber is thick. The 4-5s are no issue.The belt is great. Comfortable, durable, reliable. I used it 75 days straight with 15 pounds on it.
