It is a radical mask, with incredibly low internal volume, built for freediving.
This frameless mask construction material has been reduced to the minimum.
Inside the silicone facial, a stiff core is co-molded with the two lenses, giving just the right rigidity to the mask. Because of this Cressi has been able to eliminate the rigid frame external to the silicone skirt as most common masks have.
This semi-rigid core substitutes the usual external plastic frame and allowed us to reduce the internal volume of the mask in an unseen way until today.
Another feature of Atom is the ergonomic shape of the nose. Two small cavities, carved by the nostrils, facilitate the action of compensation.
Thanks to this innovative design, when you squeeze the nose to equalize, the mask does not move on the face reducing the entry of water that could distract the diver. This special feature makes the mask extremely stable during the dive.

I don't think it's fair to judge a mask based on how well it fits you because everyone face shape is different and one mask does not fit all. That said, the mask performed well for me. I was happy with its low volume, but it still required some effort to pinch in equalize. Maybe the rubber needs to be softer in that area. The field of view is just OK. I get a much better field of view with the Cressi Calibro with similar mask volume.

I bought two one I managed to return as it was with in a week of purchase!This one I wanted to use as it fit my face.After my first try the mask split on the top between the rubber and the glass. It was too late to return it so I am stuck with it.

This would be a great free diving mask if you're free diving child. Surprisingly small mask for a normal faced guy with a very restricted lateral field of view. I've bought a few good masks, and never once questioned whether I was the right age group for it. Didn't last 30 seconds out of its case, headed back immediately. Very disappointing coming from Cressi.

For those endowed with a slightly larger nose, these are the most comfortable low volume masks. the usual Cressi quality: easy to adjust, robust, well designed... but also extremely comfortable and effective. Haven't tested them with deeper dives as yet to test mask squeeze.. but so far, so good.so pleased with the purchase.

Two days into a 2 week snorkeling trip to Puerto Rico these broke! The connection between the strap hardware and the silicone that makes up the body of the mask is really thin compared to other mask, I wasn’t being careless, I simply tightened the strap onto my head and it broke. For the price I really expected higher quality. I WOULD AVOID!!!

For years I was looking for a mask that wouldn't hurt my nose bridge plus will stick to my face , I FINALLY found it !! The BEST product I ever bought great quality and you can feel it . I recommend to everyone is looking to have the best suction mask , no liking at all since the mask is frameless it mold exactly to any face shape .

Ci tenevo a provare questa maschera in anteprima, così appena pubblicata da Cressi mi sono messo alla sua ricerca. Ero molto curioso di questo nuovo modello senza telaio. Che dire davvero ottima. Assomiglia molto come tenuta alla Scubapro Stell Comp Mask, mentre è piuttosto larga e forte sui laterali come una Seac Raptor. Ma è diversa da entrambe. Nonostante si incolli al viso quasi come la Scubapro lascia più distanza dagli occhi, cosa piuttosto utile per la pesca. La forma delle lenti permette infatti di avere un buon campo visivo sul laterale. Consigliata per pesca principalmente, ma si comporta bene anche in diving e freediving. Forse un po' sprecata per lo snorkeling. Davvero un ottimo prodotto. Brava Cressi, dopo la minimal questa rappresenta davvero un evoluzione. Super consigliata
