I haven't actually used these for sheet metal, but I've been grabbing for them when I need a heavy duty pair of scissors. They work great and you get a lot of leverage concentrated on the blades. Anything plastic, heavy fabric, or leather will get chewed up by these, and I've have no problem grabbing then for soft wire. The pivot feels great - no slop or play, and the handles feel good in the hand. They have a nice heft to them. The blades come very sharp. Overall worth it. I would easily get these again.

I have been using these for the last 2 weeks to cut metal banding off creates. They work extremely well. I haven't noticed them getting dull from this, they cut through like butter! I am very happy with these. I think I'll get another set for spares

This is a solid quality set of snips that perform just as they should. Somewhat heavy for the 7” size, this is due to the design that emphasizes the grip structure. The insulation covering the handles is thick and should last the life of the tool. The ample openings allow the use of gloves, which is a plus. Somewhat stiff out of the box, the tool is adjustable but I prefer to let it loosen somewhat with use.Trying it out on some sheet metal and thick plastic, cuts were precise in a straight line.The attention to detail is present with this heavy duty, professional quality tool.It earned its own compartment in my tool bucket.

These small snips are surprisingly heavy. I have only used them to cut fairly thin steel wire, and they do a good job for that purpose. They seem as though they could cut a lot more if I needed them to.
