The new generation of Crescent Wiss MetalMaster® will cut over 8 miles of steel and feature up to 10 times longer cut life than traditional Aviation Snips. They are available in left/straight cut, right/straight cut, and straight cut.

The serrations help a lot more than one might expect. It takes less effort to keep the cut moving forward. Have used these a lot on 29 ga D-rib steel roof and siding panels.

I'm not a brand snob but these are the only ones I have found that consistently work. I use them regularly on aircraft aluminum.I do find the angle head ones more useful but occasionally these straight snips are best.

Crescent is a good brand. Inferior Chink brands are much less but do not hold up. My original Crescents were lost in a flood, I had them for over 20 years.
