Would give 0 stars if possible, when the handles were changed, these snips became crap, been a sheet metal worker for 30+ years, a wiss guy all those years, these new snips are trash, I will use anything else, too many problems with the new style, buy Midwest

I put a steel roof on my house with sheet metal panels. Used these to cut out the holes and trim pieces as needed. I like the higher angle of the snips as your hands are higher away from the metal and it's less likely that the cut will rub against your hand. The red set needed to be adjusted a little looser to allow them to open and close on their own. I did many cuts on my roof with these and was very happy with them.

Not sure why I waited so long to get these. If you are doing much of any sheet metal work you really need straight, left hand cut and right hand cut snips. These work just fine and I even noticed a friend who is a prof HVAC mechanic (sheet metal worker) had this same pairs of snips. Good quality and value for the money.

As an HVAC/R installer I have to be able to count on my tools. I’ve had the snips for about a month and use them every other day if not everyday. I was cutting out duct from the furnace return and they snapped in half. Maybe I got unlucky but I did enjoy the tools while they lasted.
