I inherited many tools from my father, including an old Lufkin rule. This rule was ancient; it shattered into pieces on one of my projects. I hope to keep this new Lufkin rule for many years to come.

Easy to read markers. Decimal feet (engineer scale) on one side; standard fractional inches on the other. Only improvement I would recommend would be decimal feet on both sides with no fractional inches. Well made; feels solid when folded/unfolded. Good value.

Shipped on time was expecting to receive a rule of lesser quality due to the price , which at the time was 9$ or so less than other options I saw . Quite the opposite sturdy rule and well worth the money. Would recommend
