I needed a rebar bender for a small concrete footer and this was fairly cheap and very easy to use.

Product cannot bend #4 rebar as stated in product description, the item frame is not built for it. Once the product started to bend as i was using on #4 rebar I stopped and decided to return. The button to adjust length is faulty and requires a hammer to push in for adjusting. Do not recommend, waste of time. Did not try on #3 rebar

Item packed well for shipping. Product has a heavy weight, feels very solid. I wasn’t sure it would hold up to the stress associated with bending (#4) 1/2” rebar … but it worked perfectly. The ability to QUICKLY adjust the head-angle proved to be very useful. The ability to QUICKLY adjust handle length was excellent to manage leverage, however, I can’t imagine ever bending 1/2” rebar without the product in its fully extended position. So to me, the adjustable handle is more for collapsing the tool for storage. I was concerned that the dual head design of the product might be its weak point - rebar (#3 & #4). While I have never used #3 rebar, the 1/2” #4 worked fine. There is a very slight learning curve to seat (and hold) the rebar properly (and consistently) in the proper head slot. Since there’s a dual size, the individual slots are offset from the tools centerline - so the first few attempts are more about learning how to apply ‘force’ to bend the rebarAll things considered, an affordable and useful tool to have if you’ve ever worked with rebar and had the need to bend it.

Bought this to bend some cattle panels into tomato towers. The tool is very sturdy and seems really well made. The head locks in position positively and doesn't wobble around when locked. The handle extends with a push button and also locks without any movement. It works very well for bending 4 gage galvanized steel wire. The adjustable head made it easy for me to get the bends correct and the extendable handle gave plenty of leverage. Don't know how well it works on rebar, but if you need to bend something, this will do it.

Works pretty good if you have a vise. Rebar on right side of pic is without vice. On the other side is with. I have to do a ton so it is taking quite a bit of muscle to bend each one that much. But technically it works. I recommend for smaller projects.

It works very well... Angle of work and also leverage can be adjusted. Neat looking. You will need 2 of these. One to hold the job in position and the other to actually bend. You also use a vice improvise a sturdy table with stubs of steel to instead of the 2nd piece. But its easier & cheaper to get the 2nd one.

The tool works - but it's not easy to bend rebar at a specific point with it, and still requires muscle to do soWhen bending a full 20' bar, it bends close enough to where I wanted it bent, but for a short bar, it's easier to use a pipe and vise - Pipe and vice also allows a tighter bend then this tool does.

It does what it’s supposed to. I had to grind the 3/8 opening a bit to make it fit. It is heavy duty, and extendable.

I was skeptical at first because being able to adjust ahead and length of the bar. But that all went away the first time I used it. Very solid, very versatile. Fits the bar nicely. Easy to put it on and off, and being able to Pivot the head makes doing bends In tight places a lot easier. So if you're looking at this having doubts you won't be sorry. Wish I would have bought it years ago. Also got delivered sooner than expected. So if you're a rodbuster a bridge construction guy buy it.

Had a cellar's worth of fairly complex rebar bending to do and was a little hesitant to buy. This small, extendable tool let me bend up c. 200 pieces in a few hours. It's not perfectly accurate because it's a stand alone bar, but you can get good results. It feels really strong in the body, and the adjustable head is really good and well made.
