I actually bought this to boil water outdoors to de-feature chickens on the farm. Works great. Quick to heat and easy to set up and fairly reasonable price

I think it would be much better if fuel pressure was higher and burner was a little bigger. Other than that the stand is sturdy and pot is big enough for 20 lb turkey. I will get a bigger burner a 30 psi regulator and then it will be perfect. FOR FIRST TIME TURKEY FRYERS, (PSA) before removing wrapping from turkey, put it in the pot and put water into the pot to gauge how much oil to fill pot with so you don't burn your house down. I've always told everyone who has talked about wanting to fry their first turkey.

The basket that goes inside is only 1/2 the size of the pot. Pretty much defeated the purpose of doing a low country boil

Well we are a couple weeks out from thanks giving and finally getting around to review! First off I didn’t burn down house so that’s a plus lol great thick wall pot and heavy duty thick stand we fried 3 turkeys for thanks giving and will use for crab boils over summer!

My son used this on thanksgiving and it worked perfectly. Held a 19 pound turkey with ease. Came with cooking instructions which were helpful. Very durable. Will last for years. Very satisfied!
