This is a difficult review to write. Today is 6 months since our baby passed before she was born. Purchased this item for her big brother. The item is nicely manufactured. Mortuary was able to fill it easily. Our son has worn this jewelry holder almost daily. He takes his sister with him to school, games, events, etc. Sturdy and durable. The chain had an issue with pulling apart and the larger metal circle broke. But I'm sure that had to do with some accidental pulling. Just beware because you don't want to loose it. If you are reading this, condolences on your loss. OH, the first shipment from Amazon was in error with 'brother' sent not 'sister'. They quickly replaced it.

As expected. Used the blunt end of q tip to stuff the ashes in the small hole. The funnel does not work. Otherwise I'm happy.

I was really pleased when opening the package. The necklace has a stainless steel heart, with the imprint impeccably placed on the front. I was surprised at how heavy it felt, which is a good thing! I was able to fill it with the funnel that came with it. There was a long pin included, of which use wasn’t very clear, until it came to needing something to unclog it. I tried to do so, but kept the funnel in the hole at the same time. What I thought meant the full amount was reached, was probably due to the clog. I didn’t realize it until I removed the funnel. At that point I saw the particles were of minutely different sizes, and to unclog it meant removing it from the little hole and tipping it so that the pin could be used to push through from the narrowest end out back into the bag. Because of this, I didn’t know how much was actually needed to fill the heart before it clogged. I could have reinserted it to put a little more in to see if it had more room. But by that point I was done emotionally and satisfied that at least some of the ashes went in. The tiny screw came off and on easily (using eyeglasses screwdriver) so the entire event was done in about 5 or so minutes. I love the rope chain, which will prevent knotted twisting.
