Brushes are great. Love the results. So far holding the point nicely. The dvd doesn't really have much instruction. Looked up on the internet how to use them.

I had to practice with this brush right away and I love it! I'm lucky it made it to me though as the huge box it shipped in from Jerry's Artarama was busted open. Our UPS guy is a friend and was not responsible for the damage. Holy heck Jerry's...an envelope would have done just fine!

I really was impressed by this brush! Effortless petals and leaves! The size is adequate. The hairs are quality. Picks up paint as it should. I would definitely it this again.

I own four of these brushes. I use them so often that I can now use one for each color in use. The tip and edge gives me nice defining lines, and the belly sweeps and feathers wet and dry brush wonderfully.

Bristles don’t hold their shape very well. Bristles are a bit too long. Brush is just okay.

Liked the brushes - there is a learning curve but interesting shapes. The reason I knocked off a star is these days it is hard to find a computer with a dvd player. There should be a link to a digital copy as I did not find this brand in my searches for videos online. I would have loved to see someone using these brushes.

I’ve been eyeing these brushes for some time now and am I ever glad I finally ordered them. The sturdiness alone is astounding. The balance in my hand, the marks they make are all amazing. Plus, they clean up perfectly. If you can get your hands on them, I highly recommend the Beste Fountain Brushes.

These wedge brushes are a hot to paint with. I use them on canvas and with acrylics instead of watercolor. Might shorten their lifespan, but they are holding up nicely. Lovely strokes and hold lots of paint so long lines can be painted. Excellent quality

Fantastic brush for thick and thin lines as well as interesting shaped strokes. I went looking for a dagger brush after watching urban sketcher and fantastic workshop instructor, Liz Steel, use hers. This is a great brush for the price. It holds a good amount of water, and points nicely even when well loaded, so I was able to create both thick and thin lines.It doesn’t carry quite as much pigment/water as my similarly sized sable brush, but that is generally to be expected with a synthetic hair brush. I painted my tulips entirely with this brush, including the fine lines. I bought this as my travel brush - I wrap the bristles securely with a post-it note, then secure that with electrical tape. The brush has already gone on two longish trips with me, as well as numerous day trips. I love that I can bring just this brush if I’m trying to go really minimal and I still have both a larger wash brush and a fine liner.Because it’s made from synthetic fibers, I would also consider using it for acrylics, though I haven’t yet.If you found my review useful, please click the “Helpful” button below.
