The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts! It comes with fully illustrated step by step instructions or view a video demonstration.

I love Creative Grids rulers. Every one makes each project much faster, easier, and much ore accurate. I already had about 12 square rulers in my quilting arsenal, but this has been my go-to ruler since I started using it. The grids keep the ruler from sliding, and the 1/2 inch crosshairs in both directions ensure cutting accuracy. The 45 degree solid black line makes perfect half square triangles cuts. I would recommend this tool to anyone who quilts.

I gave the ruler 5 stars because I love creative grid rulers. I was disappointed when I received my perfect 10 ruler. It has a small chip in two of the corners. It must have been dropped before it was shipped. I needed the ruler and did not want to wait to get a new one so I am keeping it.

I love Creative Grids rulers- they never slide and they're thicker than some of the less expensive ones (meaning it's harder for my rotary cutter to climb up the edge and slice my hand). This one is perfect for squaring up blocks. It came in its original shrink wrap and I'm already using it. I'm thinking I'll be putting it to use to cut my own 10 inch squares (layer cakes). It will be cheaper and I can make any color I want!
