About this item

  • Multi Color Printing: K2 Plus 3d printer, which can fulfill the multi color printing with a CFS filament management system, up to 16 colors can be printed together. Single color printing is tedious, this printer brings you a new experience in printing job, increasing much fun in your life. An intelligent management of multiple filaments, no worry to paint your prints. Note: The CFS is not included in this product. The K2 Plus can't fulfill the multi color printing alone, it needs to add a CFS to fulfill it.
  • Efficient Printing: K2 Plus, adopting industry-grade FOC step-servo motors for the XYZ axis and extrusion. The five powerful motors work in unison, each offering 32,768 controllable microsteps per revolution for ultra precise positioning. This takes the printing performance to the next level. For a large-format machine, it can reach to 600mm/s. Turbocharged by the step-servo motors, it can accelerate at a staggering 30000mm/s. Auto tilt reduction, two Z-axis are independently motorized for movement, able to reduce the bed tilt automatically. Auto Leveling Compensation, a strain gauge in the toolhead auto-probes the bed and create an accurate leveling mesh
  • Durable Direct Drive Extrusion: Hardened steel gears for better durability No issue coping with the repeated filament ingress and egress. 40mm³/s high-flow hotend powered by an 80W powerful heater, the flow rate of ABS at 280℃ can reach 40mm³/s, 66% higher than the previous design. The tri-metal nozzle curbs heat creep effectively for minimal clogs, and the integrated nozzle design and the magnetic front cover make the nozzle swap a breeze
  • Advanced Heating Structure: Creality K2 Plus has an actively heated chamber, which creates a thermostatic environment up to 60℃. Essential to forge strong prints in ASA, PPA and other high-end materials 60℃ chamber temperature for ABS, ASA, PPS, 50℃ chamber temperature for PATCH-CF. High-temp nozzle with hardened steel tip can reach to 350℃. Designed for use with wear-resistant engineering materials of high melting points. Supports more selection of materials, including PLA/ABS/PETG/PA-CF/PLA-CF/PET/ASA/PPA-CF
  • Upgraded Function: 1.Active Belt Tensioning: On the K2 Plus, the belt tension is checked and rigged actively by a pressure sensor instead of manually. 2.Two AI Cameras: K2 Plus uses an Al camera on the chamber side to watch over spaghetti failure, foreign objects, idling, etc. It will alert you when an error occurs. lt also supports real-time monitoring and time-lapse filming. There is also an Al camera on the toolhead. lt can analyze 3d model and then generate an optimal PA value or flow rate. 3.Two Auxiliary Fans: The part cooling airflow is nearly doubled as two auxiliary cooling fans are installed on the left and right sides of the chamber

If you have the room and money.  Do it.  My K1 looks like a baby next to this guy. 350x350x350.  Only thing is does not like TPU and brittle filament needs to be ran in from the top from an external holder.  Teamed up with a CFS and the printing life gets so easy.

This is the easiest user-friendly 3D computer I've ever seen. It is so good I'm going to actually buy another one!

I returned the K2 Plus—and it wasn’t easy, especially physically. For context, I own three Bambu Labs printers and have had zero issues. They’re truly plug-and-play, like a 3D printing appliance.I needed a larger format printer, and despite prior frustrations with Creality, I decided to give the K2 Plus a chance. Initially, it was promising: great print quality, impressive fit and finish—it looked like Creality had turned a corner. But after just one week, the printer stopped working. A catastrophic nozzle/extruder clog ended the honeymoon. These things happen, so I replaced the hotend at my own expense and ordered a nozzle kit.Unfortunately, it never printed reliably again. I tried multiple nozzles (.4 and .6), but the printer would repeatedly stop extruding mid-print.That’s when the real frustration began—support from ComGro to whom Creality delegated their Customer Service, was painfully slow and unhelpful. Despite providing detailed explanations and photos, the response cadence was one email per day, with no urgency or real troubleshooting. They insisted all I needed was a new nozzle—something I had already tried multiple times. Worse, they said shipping a new one would take 10 to 15 business days. This experience with customer support sealed the deal. I’ve returned the printer and won’t be making the mistake of buying from Creality again.Update: 6/19/25My wife convinced me it must have been a bad printer so I order a second one. What a mistake. It is always something. I have replaced nozzles, hot-ends, and had countless little annoyances. Now I have an "Intrusion Detection Error" that won't go away and it will not maintain nozzle temp after trying 3 hot ends.Meanwhile the three Bambu Labs printers A1, X1C and H2D just keep on printing and printing. I just ordered a second H2D.I have no idea what to do with this printer, I avoid using it and just hate it.Meanwhile crickets from Creality.Never again.

Ran into a few setup issues on this, my first 3D printer, but once I searched the internet for the solutions it does turn out some really nice quality prints.1) Print surface leveling: It's important to know that the Z Limit switch on the left side of the printer will probably need to be raised up from it's "stock' position, otherwise the print nozzle may actually hit the glass surface. There is a very small range of motion in the print surface leveling system. If the print bed is raised too high, the springs will be too loose to hold the setting, if it's too low the bottom of the table can rub on the belt cover at the rear of the machine. It may take some trial and error to get it set correctly.2) The V slot rollers may not be gripping the axis rails tightly enough so the print bed may wobble, or the print head may be loose and rattle up and down on the X axis. One of a group of 3 rollers is mounted on an "eccentric mount". When you turn the mount with the included wrench it moves the roller closer/further from the extrusion rail, kind of like a cam system. I think this knowledge should be included somewhere in the instructions.Overall though, once you get everything adjusted the printer is solid. There are a lot of upgrades available for these printers, my most recommended would be a magnetic flex steel PEI print surface. The glass bed that comes with the printer works well, but it's just not as easy as the flex surface.

This printer is very capable straight out of the box. I’m still learning something everytime I run it. It seems to be the benchmark standard for upgrades. There is a large aftermarket for maintaining and upgrading this platform in particular. There is a wealth of knowledge on YouTube for advise to set it up and use it well. Produces good prints without the need to re-invent the wheel. The learning curve is as steep or gradual as you like.I wish it had a standard USB jack or Wi-Fi , the micro-SD is a bit delicate and requires care to use regularly. Still learning how to adjust and tune this printer one piece at a time. Clean-clean-clean. I clean the build plate with a polyamide razor scraper and a spray bottle of isopropyl between each print, and glue is seldom necessary if the first pass has a large enough patch. There is 2020 slot cover strip on a roll from AMZN to fill all the openings in the extrusions to keep everything tidy, or print your own from Thingiverse.Leveling the bed is so simple that a probe is not required. With the Z travel limit switch set correctly, leaving zero gap with no pressure on the plate. Move Z+ 0.2mm and use a personal check 0.1mm thickness the gap the nozzle to the plate and you’re in the ballpark for sure. Check level everytime you move the machine and if adhesion suffers and a probe isn’t needed at all.The spider 3.0 hot end and a metal extruder has me running at 999% print speed with good results on PLA. A filament guide that keeps the crumbs and dust down near the Z-feed screw. I printed the usual Thingiverse favorites to test and adjust the printer before re-tightening hardware and adjusting it for greater speed and precision.Cheers and have fun!

****Update**** July 2nd 2019Comgrow I cannot express my thankfullness with any words. They sent me both a Glass bed, and it solved all my printing issues for large prints, and they also sent me the new silent board with the TMC 2208 stepper drivers! The printer is so much quieter and hasn't skipped a beat. I have printed some wonderfully detailed large scale items now and it's been a dream! Thank you to the amazing support team at Comgrow!I highly and absolutely recommend Comgrow for your next 3D printer purchase!---------------------------------------After building it, calibrating it, and printing some great prints I fell in love with the printer. But it had some short comings I did not expect such as:1: the Z axis Binding in certian spots. Fixed this by loosening the threaded bracket the rides up and down the Z rod.2: the stock extruder bracket will bind and snap the filament if the angle is too sharp, fixed this by relocating the holder for the filament to the left hand side so the filament wasn't at such a steep angle and also installing the metal extruder upgrade to avoid any binding or slipping.3: the bed slowly starting warping more and more due to the heat it produces (due to the expanding/shrinking of the aluminum base. Reached out to tech support at comgrow with this issue and they handled the situation perfectly! After explaining how it affected my use of the printer as I print larger Items I was unable to use the full surface area of the bed except a center area that I could tram the bed and nozel to. But As I said comgrow support solved this by sending me a Glass print bed! And that changed everything!4: Cura profiles are not universal and I learned this the hard way after trying to get the most out of my printer in terms of quality! YOU MUST play with your settings for print speed, layer heights, infil and supports! Also, for large prints on glass you absolutely must use a brim! It's easy to remove after once the part has cooled and prevents all warping (at least for me) with out needing to gunk up my glass build plate with hair spray, glue or tape.Besides these minor issues it's an amazing printer if you love to tinker and learn/adapt with the hardware you have! Its print quality for the price if you take your time is insane for the price point.I wish I had purchased an Ender 5 or CR 10 instead as they are better designed. But funds were limited at the time of purchase.Would I recommend to the entry level 3D printer user as first printer? Absolutely. You learn about all of the possible issues with any 3D printers and with a support team like Comgrows and the community that backs it as well is perfect. Its easy to find solutions to any problem you come across as long as you're patient and don't mind tinkering.
