Grandson and his buddies use my boat a lot, they can break anything that is "man made" i am sure. But i epoxied the old one, now they use this new one when we flush salt water from the engine coolant system

Cup does not seal and leaks very bad, also waste a lot of material which is expensive.

This device has a much more solid feel than the device that comes with the Salt Away setup for 3x the price. The only drawback is that it only has "On and Off"...No rinse. So you will have to make that adjustment when flushing your rig. I've seen a few people say the final rinse with Salt Away or whatever brand salt eliminator you prefer isn't a bad thing.

The orifice is so small that an inadequate flow is supplied to the 2018 Yamaha outboard flush attachment resulting in the upper unit receiving no water flow-there is no water flow out of the telltale hole. Remove the CRC flush attachment an the water hose flow circulates through the powerhead and out the telltale hole. What a waste of money, time, and effort while at the same time exposing the powerhead to inadequate cooling circulation. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!! Regretfully, I did not notice the numerous negative comments on this piece of junk nor used within the return window. Complete waste of money. Amazon should be ashamed of selling such a defective item.

I've used mine for a whole season now, and that's year-round not just the summer (about 13 months actually so far). I use this to flush a 200HP and 9.9HP Yamaha after every trip into the salt up here in the Pacific NW. I handle this like I would any other piece of plastic on the boat, such as the actual connection port you use to flush it, and have not had any issues with breaking. It's plastic, so I guess common sense dictates you can't treat it like a brass fitting and toss a hose down while this is connected to the end. It's a basic unit with no flow control other than on and off, but I don't see that as a huge problem for what I use it for. I flush the motor with water first then run the of Salt Terminator through them with this unit until the reservoir turns from blue to clear and I'm done. No problems with leaking so far either.

Rubber o-ring is weak, so it leaks all over the place. Second one I've purchased, but no better than the first. Does the job though.
