Purchased for a 2 year old who likes to press down on/break their crayons, chalk & marker tips. They enjoy using these to color and we haven’t lost any yet. The crayon also wipes off pretty easily off if it accidentally gets on other surfaces. Highly recommend!

I bought these because my kids are constantly breaking crayons. We’ve gone through so many of those giant 120 packs of crayons because my kids are always breaking them in one way or the other and we have to throw them out because they refuse to color with them when they are broken. We tried the thick toddler ones but they break those too so I decided to try these hoping they’d maybe last a little longer than the standard crayon. They are great! My kids love the novelty of them and it helps them work on their fine motor skills. They color just as well as a standard crayon plus they don’t break! (At least WE haven’t broken any yet). Crayola, if you see this please consider making a 120 pack of THESE! I would 100% buy that.

As a parent of a toddler who loves to color, I’ve found the Crayola Twistable Crayons to be an excellent choice for little hands that are still learning fine motor skills. Here’s a detailed look at why these crayons have become a staple in our household:Pros:Durability: Traditional crayons break easily in the hands of an enthusiastic toddler. The twistable design of these Crayola crayons means there’s no need to worry about breakage. This feature alone makes them worth considering for young children.Convenience: There’s no need for a sharpener or peeling off crayon paper. Simply twist the crayon to expose more color. This makes them incredibly convenient and mess-free.Portability: The plastic casing around each crayon helps keep them intact during travel. They are great for keeping little ones entertained in the car or at restaurants.Cleanliness: Unlike regular crayons, these don’t leave bits of wax everywhere, reducing the amount of cleaning up required after an art session.Cons:Quality: While they are durable, the quality of the crayon itself isn’t as high as traditional Crayola crayons. They tend to be a bit waxy, which can affect the smoothness and vibrancy of the colors on paper.Color Intensity: The colors are not as intense or vibrant as those of standard crayons. This might be a drawback if you’re looking for bright and bold artwork. Conclusion:Despite the minor drawbacks in color quality and waxiness, Crayola Twistable Crayons are a fantastic solution for toddlers who tend to break traditional crayons. They are durable, convenient, and reduce the mess typically associated with coloring activities. These crayons are not only parent-friendly but also perfect for helping young children develop their coloring skills without the frustration of broken crayons.Overall, I highly recommend Crayola Twistable Crayons for any parent looking for a durable and easy-to-use coloring tool for their little one. They might not be perfect in terms of quality, but they definitely fit the needs of a busy toddler and a clean-conscious parent.

I love to color when flying, in the airport, on the plane, it's just my usual activity. Now, while I love colored pencils, the tip can break and you have to sharpen them. Not exactly TSA friendly. The normal crayons are fine, but they make my hand cramp and occasionally break. Markers go dry. Twist-up Crayons are the perfect solution. Love the large pack and color options. I just pop them into a more travel friendly pouch so the box doesn't get destroyed being shoved into my bag and they are ready to use whenever. Some of the lighter colors are a little too light, but that's my only complaint.

These have been used and abused by toddlers. I have only had one of them break, but there was still enough color left to twist out and still use. These are constantly dropped on hardwood. I will say the colors don’t draw as vibrant as I’d like but hey my kids aren’t pooping rainbows and crushing crayons in everything so I call it a win!

I absolutely love Crayola but these twistable Crayons are the best thing ever! My 5 year old with a regular crayon kept breaking them because he would press to hard on the paper when coloring. Also he would peel the crayon paper off and I would find pieces of that everywhere!! These twistable crayons you don’t have to worry about either of those things happening! It’s so nice because it helps my 5 year old to be independent in twisting the crayon up when needed when he is coloring! The cost for these I thought was great for the amount of crayons you get and they will last a long time! The size works perfectly for my 5 year old to grip to write and color! I highly recommend!

Works well traveling. No mess, unlike paper around crayons. They are durable, color smooth. They are the right size for small hands. Works well for kids and handicapped adults as well. I got these for a handicapped adult with the mentality of a 4 year old. She loves them.
