I needed a variety of flesh tone colored pencils for an assignment in class and these fit the bill. I'm really happy with these. Make sure you have good pencil sharpeners for these!!

I purchased these for my classroom after I was let down by Crayola's old "Multicultural" colored pencils.These are the real deal. There are 24 different colors, and my students love having the different colors they can use for skin tones. If I forget to put them out on days we are drawing, they ask for them. They enjoy being able to accurately represent true skin colors.

These pencils are being used in middle school art classes. In a diverse neighborhood school, it's a welcome and subtle reminder to the students that all their varied skin tones are beautiful and welcome, and as they draw, they can reflect that. Because this comes in a package with six sets, and there are so many colors in each set, there are plenty of pencils for the average classroom of 30 to share. Or, if you are someone with many friends with children, or have many grandchildren on your gift list, this would be great to break up and send a pack of pencils to each one, along with some drawing paper and a set of regular drawing pencils as well. What a great gift!
