It’s always good to have a quality multi tool on rides and this one is definitely as good as all the other reviews make it. It has saved me a few times on the trails far away from my vehicle already. The chain breaker can be difficult to push out the pins when holding it by hand but otherwise the links fit well into the breaker with no play. The other tools fit tight into Allen and torx bolts as well.I bought the M19 instead of the M17 for the extra tools and metal case. It’s helps keep the tools from leaving holes on my backpack.I’m one for quality tools and the M19 preforms well and has a solid build. Some people have had these for 10+years and still going. Hopefully mine will live up to the same.

I have three different bicycle multitools, the Crankbrothers M-19 is the best by far. This is probably the only multitool you will need (but check the rest of the Crankbrothers lineup). It has a wide range of tools. It is strong and well-built. I recommend this tool.

I previous bought this in 2017 and have found it excellent quality with all the tools needed which you do not get on other multi tools. The time is quality so it’s solid but also not too heavy. Highly recommended.

Overall I've liked this set over the past few years but it has a few serious design flaws which for me meant that I had to reassemble it using a heavy helping of blue threadlocker after it fell apart in my bag. As a bonus I only managed to lose one of the washers!-The lock washers that are used to hold the thing together are the cut washer type which from an engineering standpoint literally do nothing once everything has been tightened. I supposed they could help in light of the next design flaw I will mention but in my case they didn't. It's truly astonishing that manufacturers have ever used these types of lock washers and completely insane that they continue to do so.-The rods that threads through each end and are responsible for tying all the individual tools together are about 1/4" too short. This means that when you tighten it down you don't tighten against the rod, you tighten against all of the tools. The effect of this is that you can't really tighten them down an effective amount because the individual tools won't be able to swing out. They did put a small dab of blue threadlocker on it but it wasn't enough to prevent mine from falling apart.I suggest that anyone who buys this disassembles it and puts a healthy helping of blue or maybe even red threadlocker on the threads. Once applying a bunch of threadlocker it seems to stay together enough for infrequent use. If you are someone who only has this for emergencies then I consider it a worthwhile tool for your pack. If you are planning on using this frequently then I suggest looking elsewhere.I see a lot of complaints about rust but unfortunately that is the nature of things. Stainless would be too heavy (and softer), aluminum would be too soft, and titanium would be too expensive. I suppose there could be a better coating on it but in the end you just need to not let it sit around wet. Keeping it slightly oiled would also help.

I've had this tool for about four years and use it for almost every single thing I do on my bike. I have plenty of ball-end small handled hex drivers in my toolbox, but I prefer to use this thing. It comes with me on every ride and is great for roadside adjustments.I'd mistakenly tried to use the chainbreaker for a much larger chain that didn't quite fit and thought I cross threaded/stripped the "punch" in the process, but forcing it back on and giving it a good spin up and down got everything right again.I went for a bumpy trail ride and opened my frame bag and this thing came out in pieces, but some red loctite and 3-in-1 and it's good as new. This tool is essentially a simple machine, and if you maintain it (oil it every now and then) it will work forever. I don't know whether they sell individual "blades" should one strip out or break, but as I'd mentioned, I've been using mine for 4 years and no issues yet.Only hiccup is the "flask" it comes with - the plastic caps are just about worthless. The top piece falls off constantly so the tool slips out. I use it without the flask.Top quality! The only bicycle multi tool you'll need.

This is the best bike multi-tool you can get. it has saved me many times. if you cant decide which tools you might need to bring with you on a ride, just bring this thing and you will be set. turns out the spoke wrench also works as a valve core removal tool which i realized when i stopped to help someone on the Mag 7 trail in Moab with his tubeless tires. He was happy to be able to keep running tubeless and i was happy to help and to know about this feature for future. this really is a great all around multi-tool as well. i do building maintenance and i could carry this thing and a pair of channel locks and not need any other tools 90% of the time. it is a little heavy but not too bad and is well worth the weight for how useful it is. the chain tool can be a trip saver and is a huge peace of mind to have. spoke wrenches could save you a rim. this tool has it all. a basic allen set may be a little lighter but doesnt do a whole lot and some of the most day-wrecking mechanical problems cant be fixed with just allen wrenches. also, it is very reasonably priced considering its level of quality out-does any other multi tool ive seen. this thing is solid. if your considering making this purchase, just buy it now. you wont regret it.
