One came unhooked/broke halfway through my first time using them; though they worked really well during the first half of my hike. I hope I’m able to re-hook the chain/repair it, but you get what you pay for. The second one that’s still intact got me through two more winter hikes as a solo crampon. The second pair I bought for my mom did not break and worked well for her.

I bought a pair of these for to use on our hiking trip to Lapland, in the north of Finland. I wanted them on one of the guided walks I had booked onto. As this would be in the snow, I was pleased to find that they performed very well in the wild. They’re not too cumbersome to pack in a bag either, so I can carry them about and they're straightforward to put on/take off.

I bought two pair of these for my partner and I to use on our hiking trip to Zermatt. We needed them on one of our high level walks in the snow and these performed perfectly. They’re light to carry and easy to put on and remove from your boots.

They are great and fit perfectly on every pair of boots I own. Would definitely consider investing in some velcro straps aswell if your crampons arrive without them. Just for added piece of mind. They will help to hold your crampons perfectly in place.

Brilliant piece of equipment. Wouldn't climbe Ben Nevis without them. These crampons made my walk very pleasant and relaxed. Virtually you cannot slip in these. Super easy to put on, took me probably 3 minutes. I would recommend this product to everyone who wants to climb a mountain in the winter time. Just brilliant.
