My 8 year old daughter and I had a great time making these. They are easy (as we are non-sewers) and turned out very cute! Great for a child looking to make their own gifts. Relaxing but also great for eye-hand coordination. Will definitely purchase another animal set.

We got these as an activity for my son's 6th birthday party. For the occasion, I'd rate them a 2. They're not a good party activity, which I expected, but he insisted.For 6 year olds, they require LOTS of patience and parent guidance. No one finished them during the party, but he completed his and the extras over the next few weeks and he loves them. They've held up well, although he mostly uses them as decoration.

I don't usually write reviews, but I was very impressed with the quality of this sewing kit. The animals, which were designed in the Netherlands, are just adorable! The kit comes with everything you need, including scissors, several needles, and easy-to-understand instructions. I sewed the animals myself to include in a package with an "Under the Sea" theme I'm sending to my grandchildren. I really enjoyed making them and finished them all in one day. I know my grandkids will be delighted.

Grandson is 5 and wanted to get him something that was life skill, helps with fine motor skills and was fun. He has made 2 of the items and my daughter has had to limit how many he does at a sitting. 😆

Super easy instructions! Came with a lot more than I anticipated. Cute animals and the sticky parts are very sticky lol.

The materials are surprisingly good quality, I mean it's not made of gold but I'll be putting these pins and needle threaders into my sewing kit! I'm not sold on the eyes, though. They are long and pokey. I'm pretty sure they'll eventually poke through the felt on the back side and they are really hard to get on. Buttons might have been better, something sewn and not sharp. The scissors are the dullest child scissors I've ever seen, really had to gnaw through that thread. I think 7 years old might be a little generous, my 7 and 9 year olds were excited to start but quickly grew frustrated as the thread kept getting caught on all the little legs, fins, and pins. They just didn't have the coordination to guide the thread smoothly. Plus the thread was continuously falling out of the needle. Even after I tied it on, the knot eventually slips apart. So not a seamless, smooth experience to be sure. I ended up doing most of the project myself, lol, but they were happy to get them in the end. I'll probably finish the rest of them myself and just give them to the kids. Adjusting for a higher age and different eyes, it's a great kit.

I bought these to teach myself how to sew on fabric since I want to make fabric foods for my son and I thought this kit would be a great way to learn. The materials are all high quality, the instructions are very easy to follow, and there is even a link you can go to in order to watch a tutorial video for whichever project you need. I had had a question about one of the items in the kit and had reached out to their customer service and was met with a very prompt and polite response which I definitely appreciated. I look forward to buying different kits and having more cute felt toys for my son!

These are so much fun. My kids love to do them on vacation. They need a tiny bit of help to get started sometimes, but mostly independent.
