It serves its purpose. It is durable, but hard. Light enough to move around can be used as a seat. Knocking off a star for the smell. It stinks like hay.

Purchased to use primarily in a bathroom - an easy place to heap clothes or sit to dress after a shower. We have 1" tiles on the floor and need a flat-bottomed place to sit. This is not flat; it has 4 screws that go in from the bottom, each with a flexible plastic "collar" the keeps the screw head from touching the floor. I think it'll work ok even on the small tiles (we've been cautioned about too much pressure on a single tile) and it's also a great piece that can be brought out to the living room for additional seating there. Lightweight, attractive, seems very sturdy. We like it and recommend it.
