Game changer for sports. This is perfect for all weather to stay in the shade or out of the rain. The kids can lay down and take a nap or just stay out of the heat. Was so glad I made this purchase, now I don’t mind the raining games because we stay dry!

I really wanted to like this product but upon setting it up for the 2nd time, The strap that holds the tent to the pole, ripped. The first time I set it ip was just to make sure I followed instructions correctly. We did end up using it and my daughtwe how warm it kept her during a rainy and semi cold track meet. We can for 2 lawn chairs in there and with just 1 chair my daughter was able to lay a blanket down and take a quick nap. Maybe mine was flawed upon arrival which saddens me because we have more track meets to come

This tent was excellent for what we needed until it broke. The setup was easy and it’s large. The top part is supposed to pop back down. The first time we couldn’t close it and just carried it in the truck, second time it smashed my finger bad and this last time one of the connectors at the top snapped. We watched videos on how to take it down but it’s not easy. It’s a great product but not sure I would spend $200 on something that only lasted us 3 uses. I checked our warranty and we are 3 days past so that’s annoying that there is only a 30 day warranty to begin with.

I purchased this pod to use at my son's baseball games; we live in Northern California and baseball season starts out cold, windy and foggy. I have an 81 year old father that loves to watch his grandson's play ball, but can't sit for long in the cold. I set the pod up for the first time this week at a tournament; it was extremely windy and cold and it was pretty miserable for the fans. I set up the pod and my dad and I watched a doubleheader with only our sweatshirts on. The pod was amazing; it blocked the wind and was easy to set up and take down. We had a lot of jealous looks and if I had 10 of them I could've sold them all. I highly recommend this product; it's super lightweight, is easy to put up and take down and really does the job. I expect that many more of these will be popping up at ball games; I had a lot of people come by to check out the brand information. Highly recommend!!

I bought this so that I could go outside and get early morning sunlight through the winter in Pennsylvania. It is not meant to withstand ongoing weather, but mine did great for the past two winters. I put a radiator style heater inside with a timer set to turn on an hour before I intend to go sit outside. Then when I go out, it's a nice, warm, sunny place to read a book for an hour while my body gets the blue light it needs from the early morning sun. Was really a life-changer. I am very happy with the purchase.

I doubt if the manufacturer considers their product to be a winter shelter. However I have been using it for that purpose. In this review I'm going to describe my results so far.Due to Covid, I need to spend a few hours each day outdoors where I need to see and interact with other people. I do this in two different locations in New Jersey, so I purchased and set up two CoverU's. The model I purchased holds two people, so this review is for the two person shelter. Here is how I set them up, planning to have them stand permanently all winter in backyards. So that they don't blow away, I used rope to tie them to a nearby fence and I staked them down into the dirt using 3/4" thick 12" long bolts which I hammered into the ground at each leg. I sprayed the shelter with tent water repellent to help keep out water. I strengthened the rainfly attachment point, securing it with duct tape because I was concerned that without a little extra security the rainfly might blow off in a heavy storm.I set them up at the beginning of November 2020 and I am writing this review at the end of December 2020. So how have they done so far?I have been in the shelters in temperatures in the low 20s. I was concerned that the plastic might become brittle and crack. No problem there. At those temperatures the plastic remained very flexible. The only problem I had was that I had to be careful zipping the zippers because they needed a little extra attention to move at some spots but they did move correctly. I used an electric heater in one of the shelters when the outside air was 22°. The shelter heated up very quickly and easily retained the heat. It was quite comfortable inside. This winter these two shelters have endured one nor'easter and two very heavy rain/windstorms with wind gusts up to 65 miles an hour. Both shelters held up to this abuse quite well. There was absolutely no damage to either shelter. I was in both shelters for a time during these very heavy rain storms. Absolutely no water dripped in from the top or dripped in on the sides as far as I could tell. The shelters moved a bit when hit by heavy wind gusts, but I did not feel any wind movement inside at all, except for what came through the little bit of area in the zipper I left open for proper ventilation. The nor'easter did not drop that much snow. The snow it did drop was a heavy, wet snow which slid right off of the roof of the shelter. I have not yet seen how these shelters would do in a deep snow because so far this winter there has not been a deep snow in New Jersey where I am. So, the performance of these shelters has been amazing considering that this is a beach shelter. There is one small caveat to this stellar performance. In very heavy rains that lasted for many hours a small amount of water puddled on the bottom of both shelters. I could not detect the source of the water. Since I could not find the source of the water, the only thing I can think of is that perhaps water seeped in from the bottom, but that is just my conjecture. For both shelters after immense downpours that lasted all day the amount of water on the floor of each shelter was approximately one quart of water which I easily bailed out using a small plastic cup.So in summary I have found this shelter to be excellent for winter use and I recommend it as a winter use shelter based on my experience. I will add that I do not think it should be used as an overnight winter tent due to the water leakage problem. I deducted one star due to the water leakage.

UPDATE: After posting my initial review, the company sent me a new carrier bag. This bag is so much better and much easier to store the shelter after use. The more we have used it, the more we have been able to enjoy both for cold/rain and for shade and it has withstood the conditions. It can easily be moved without having to collapse it and put it back up each time.It will serve its purpose. I opened it up in my living room to practice opening it. It does go up easy but folding it back up to fit in the bag was quite the task. It hardly fit back in and the bag tore very easily. I'm better off using something to tie it closed after using. The zippers feel a bit cheap and any drink in the holders will pull it in a little bit. Overall, it will shield the wind and rain but I expected it to be a little more durable.
