I have severe eczema and very dry skin and I've been using Dr B castile soap for years but recently it's become drying for my skin so I found Cove and decided to give it a try despite it costing more than Dr B. Lemme tell you, it's worth every dang penny because it's thicker, clearer, and truly soothes the skin. I bought the unscented of course but I can smell the glycerin in it. I'm so happy with the ingredient list and how they're organically derived. Cove, thank you for an amazing product never stop making it and Amazon, thank you for always providing an excellent customer experience! Five star product and five star service! If you have really dry problem skin like me this product is for you!

I no longer use regular facial cleansers that use drying sulfates and a mixture of agents that I may or may not need or that simply don't work for wrinkles, acne, exfoliation, dark spots etc. Instead I dilute this concentrated soap to make face cleanser as directed on the bottle. Then I add a few drops of my vitamin C serum to it. ( Side note: You can add drops of whatever serum you like to customize). This natural gentle soap uses low and non comedegenic oils thar do not clog pores. After cleansing, my skin feels normal and not dry.

I switched from another castile soap to Cove Castile to see if it would be more gentle on my hands since I have begun having issues recently. When I mixed it with water for my foaming pump dispenser and started using it, I was pleasantly surprised at how soothing it seemed on my skin. And my hand irritation is gradually clearing up. I will continue to use this brand in the unscented specifically.

I took off one star because the rose scent is not much like roses. I don't care at all for the scent. Otherwise this soap does everything it is advertised to do. I love that I can water it down and put it in my foaming soap dispenser. It really goes a long way. I will try the citrus.

Great for my xtra sensitive skin. Thicker than most Castille, so a little goes a long way! Mint aroma is nice but not as crisp & "awakening" as previous brand. Once I added additional oil, it was perfect for MY specific, theraputic needs. Aside from muscle & joint pain,I have chronic migraine, as well as breathing & skin issues from Scleroderma. I benefit from that tingling/ penetrating skin sensation on my scalp & skin, & "open the airways" results, so my need for a very strong Peppermint are probably more than most. As this castile comes before I alter the strength, the original peppermint & smoothness of their pure product is still pleasing. I must credit them for obstaining from using ingredients derived from coconuts which are still freely being used in competitors products. The use of coconuts not only has a negative impact on our enviornment but also contributes to the inhumane treatment of the monkeys used to collect the coconuts. These animals are severly neglected & overworked to the point of exhaustion or death. This is why I stopped using my previous brand and began searching for a company that had no part in this unethical practice. I was very pleased to find Cove to be a compassionate company who does not compromise thier quality for the sake of profit. I will continue to purchase this brand and look forward to trying other products from them!

So my fiancé has eczema. Not mild eczema -- BAD eczema. The kind of eczema that meant switching to natural laundry detergent (Hello Molly's Suds!) and banishing certain fabrics from the house (Goodbye, polyester!). Don't get me started with the lack of sleep from all the constant, general irritation and itching (-sighs- How you doing, couch?)Luckily, and so far, with all these changes, we've been doing good in keeping it at bay...except:Bath soaps. Shampoos, conditioners and body wash. We've tried so many types, combinations and what not. He just about gave up on ever finding a gentle enough soap for his skin, but I kept at it and found Cove.It smells like bubble soap, even if the bottle says unscented. Remember when little kid you would blow bubbles from your little neon colored bottle of soap with your matching neon colored wand? Only to spill it all over yourself to come home, crying, smelling like industrial powered soap bubbles? It smells just like that -- faint but it's there. Which made him nervous. It lathers a lot, like the bubble bath that came after your mom found out you spilled your bubble elixir all over yourself. It lathers enough to make shapes (and bubble beards!). Which was fun, but it made him even more nervous. He stepped outside, dried off and...waited. And waited. For what, you ask? For the eventual bite and sting from his eczema that told him there was something in his soap that pissed off his skin, that's what.Only it never came. Not after his hike later that day, not after all the errands we ran later still.Cove is the first soap his skin could actually tolerate. And fun to boot!So thanks to Cove, I can now comfortably sleep next to my hubby to be without him jostling me awake from the horrid tossing and turning and scratching he'd do thanks to his previous soaps, detergents and clothes.I'm not gonna miss you, couch. ;)
