I bought this for the special education students. They all enjoy playing with it. We give it to a student who works great with it and enjoys to match the dinosaurs with the bowls.

My kiddo and I love these dinosaur shapes. They are made of soft feeling plastic that is durable. The colors are true to the bowl they are supposed to be sorted into and have provided hours of entertainment (he likes to line them up by color and then push them around). The set comes with two tongs which is great just in case one pair gets lost, you know kid things.

We started playing with my son and this sorting set when he was about 15 months old. I would model the process of opening the tube, dumping out the pieces, setting up the bowls, and using the tongs to sort the dinos into their color bowls. At first, he had fun dumping everything out and putting it back in. At 16 months, we had a game going when I would race to fill up each bowl before he could dump them out. At 18 months, he can sort the dinos into their color bowls and *tries* to use the tweezers to do so.The pieces vary in size, but some could definitely pose a choking hazard if you've got a little one who like to put things in their mouth. This is definitely a favorite in out house, and the buildable play/ skill development has been so fun to watch

My grand kids love these. They enjoyed the set I have for my house that I bought each of them a set for presents. They imagine with them, sort, and count with them. The oldest has always loved you sort them by colors and line them up according to color and patterns of vehicles and animals.

I am a developmental therapist that works with infants and toddlers in their home and as a result, enjoyed exploring this toy with them this week. Initially it was very cool, the dinosaurs stuck to most smooth surfaces and made a fun little "snap" sound when they pulled them up. There was enough resistance to build fine motor strength but not too strong that they could not be successful.Dinosaurs were engaging and children loved exploring textures, matching dinosaurs, vocabulary (snap, push, pull, squeeze, dinosaurs, and color/counting words). The tongs were easy to use even for the toddlers who struggle with hand strength and coordination and were perfect size for little hands.Overall though, the purpose and engagement is greatly reduced when the dinosaurs don't stick and the children become disappointed it isn't working. I will be returning them as after playing with them for 3 days, they no longer stick to any surface. Even after being cleaned or moistened.
