This is a drop replacement, no messing with external transformers or dangles.Very nice light, definitely 3rd generation here.It creates a lot of heat and you can hear the fan if you listen closely with the hood open, but turn the car on and your not going to hear it. I have left the dust covers off on my car to help with ventilation.I don't know long term reliability obviously but I think the fan would be a weak point. If my experience with computers says anything 1 out of 10 fans will fail before schedule. High probability that this will last several times longer than standard.

This really works better and brighter than the original lights in my vehicle. I can really see the road and off to the sides of road where I notice alot of deer out at night now. I recommend these headlights to replace the manufacturer lights to anyone, in fact I'm going to see if I can order another set for my girlfriends car now

I upgraded my 2009 Lexus GX-470 to these several years ago and they've worked perfectly for about, 5 years or so. Recently they went out and I purchased another set. Now they're good as new. I've also put these in my son's car and they work really well. He especially liked that they isn't have that dingy yellow color to them. I'd gladly purchase another set or two, if any of my family's vehicles need a replacement.

Two days after the return window they started to blink and no answer from the seller. Had to purchase another brand.Very deceiving

I will likely update my review when these lights have run for a little while. Installed H11 for my low beams on a 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited (Canada). Probably because Toyota makes bulb replacement ridiculously easy, the bulb replacement for my previously halogen lights were a cinch. While I don’t have photos to show, the light was significantly brighter than the halogens.After a few more months/years of running these I will update my review again to advise of longevity. I will also be using these as fog light replacements as well (H11). Likewise, I will also try out the high beam replacements with 9005 bulbs. Hopefully these work out just as well.
