These Cougar H11/H8/H9 LED replacement bulb units DO NOT fit the Harley Davidson 4.5" Spot Lights as fitted to Heritage Softails etc. They are NOT a true replacement for the GE881 Halogen Bulb. They have a much thicker shank on the bulb stem which prevents them from passing thru the hole into the reflector unit so they cannot be installed without modifying the reflector mount.

I installed these on a 2015 Toyota Sienna LE without issue in just a few minutes. There was plenty of clearance behind the headlight housings for these LED bulbs. They're crisp and bright.Note that the 2015 Toyota Sienna LE does NOT have daytime running lights (DRL). I don't know if other models that have DRL use the same bulb or the high-beam bulb. I replaced only the low-beam bulbs.PROS:- Relatively easy to install- Bright, crisp light (looks like high-quality HID lights)- Fans are quiet (you can hear them if your engine is off and you're listening for them; otherwise, you won't hear them)- Price is good for LED lightsCONS:- The LED controller gets relatively hot (133°F); I'm concerned they might burn out- Finding a way to mount and secure the LED controller can be a bit challenging- Spinning motors introduce yet another potential failure pointInstalling the LED bulb itself was extremely easy -- just twist the bulb into the headlight housing (H11 mount) and attach the power connector to the LED light. It took only about 1 minute per bulb. However, this LED light has some sort of LED/fan controller box that sits inline with the power cable (others have posted photos of this). Trying to figure out where to mount that controller was a bit of a challenge. I didn't want to leave it dangling, as it would rattle up against other parts in the engine compartment and it would eventually cause fatigue on the power cable and break. Also, the controller gets a bit hot, so I didn't want to mount it to anything plastic. I found a part of the car's frame above the light that I zip-tied the controllers to.The LED lights make a huge difference in the crispness and brightness of the headlights. I was pleasantly surprised that it looked like high-quality HID lights and not some cheap aftermarket light. I've posted photos of before (with halogen bulbs), half-way upgraded (1 halogen, 1 LED bulb), and after (with both LED bulbs).I'm not crazy about the bulbs having cooling fans spinning at 10,000 RPM, as I imagine they might fail with all of the road grime that gets splashed up into the engine compartment. However, they did seem to keep the bulbs cool. After about 5 minutes of running, the bulb housings measured only 109°F (see attached thermal photo). I am more concerned about the LED/fan controller box getting fairly hot. It measured 133°F (see attached thermal photo) -- not a good temperature for electronics, as it shortens their life. While the controllers were in a metal housing, they didn't look like they provide much heat dissipation. They definitely looked like they could use a good heat sink. I suspect the controllers will burn out long before the bulbs do... If the fans don't fail first! :-)Overall, considering I used to pay upwards of $40 for a pair of "blueish" colored halogen bulbs that burned so hot, they would fail within a few months, paying around $44 for a pair of LED lights doesn't seem like a bad gamble. I am very satisfied for now. If they fail prematurely, I'll update this post.Good luck!

Absolutely Amazing! I was actually debating on buying completely new aftermarket headlight units because the factory halogen lights were so abysmal. I have had so many close calls with animals either standing in the road or running into the road from the side. The halogen bulbs simply didn't put out enough light ahead or to the sides, not to mention making out details was impossible with the murky yellow color. Before spending over $400 on new headlight units I decided to give these LED bulbs a try (both high and low beams). I am so glad I did!!Install:Installation was a breeze, these bulbs don't seem to have the polarity issues some other LED bulbs have that could require rewiring. Super simple plug and play for the most part. My Audi A3 housing needed a bit of modification for the high beams to fit, I don't think other vehicles will require any modding. My vehicle also didn't need any anti-flicker help, though it seems the manufacturer is happy to help if you require that. Even with the modding I needed to do, it only took 20-30 minutes to install these awesome bulbs.First Light:Seriously, the first thing you will say.... WOW! Side-by-Side comparison with the halogen is no contest. LED throws farther and wider, with a much clearer and cleaner light. The color profile is best described as beautiful. Common knowledge is that HIDs will get you a white color headlight as well, but in reality it still appears yellowish after they are warmed up. HIDs are no comparison to LEDs at all, the light stays clean, clear and brilliantly white no matter how long they have been on. Another thing that became apparent is the light's response time, HIDs are notoriously slow so they aren't even considered, but halogens seem incredibly slow next to these LEDs, to the point it is surprising that I never noticed it before. The Drive:So this is where it really counts. Every morning I take my son to school, we live very remotely it is a 50 mile drive one way, and in the dark for the first hour. I brought the old bulbs with me just in case something didn't work out correctly with the LEDs. Immediately upon setting out it was apparent that these bulb were the answer I had been looking for; the entire roadway was being lit up, I could see things on the sides that I could never see before, when using the low beams light was reaching farther ahead than the halogen high beams could ever hope to. 30 minutes in, I can see eyes reflecting ahead on the side of the road, I start to brake, just as I near a group of javelina (native pigs) they rush out into the road, I easily avoided them thanks to the LEDs lighting them up way ahead of what the halogens would have. Had the Halogens been in, it would have been a close call or worse, the LEDs made this a simple, easy avoidance maneuver. The Downs:The only downsides I can see so far are:1) The units are much larger than the halogen blubs. This won't be a problem for most housing, for those that need modification it is usually quite simple to do, get creative if you have to. It is worth it to have these bulbs, I promise.2) The LED bulbs have to use their own cooling fans to stay cool. As such, if your engine is off and the headlights on, then you can hear the little fans blowing away. They are very quiet, but in the rare case that your engine isn't running but your headlights are on (seriously when will you be doing this!?!?) then you will hear the light whirring sounds. If that is enough to turn you away, then you probably have more problems than not being able to see with your terrible halogen bulbs.Period:These are the best upgrade I have done, I love these things. You will as well. Get some.*UPDATE*Just to let the readers know, these are still going strong 45 days later. No dimming, no color change, no flickering. I use the headlights for a little over an hour ever single day, which equates to nearly 60+ hours of usage so far. These are great! After reading horror stories of other LED headlights dimming, flickering or outright failing within a few weeks of usage I was afraid these wouldn't last, but they are still going! I will do a second update several months from now!New Con-These will cause interference with FM radio reception. Only seems to effect weak signals though, so usage in the city won't be very noticeable.-Upgrayedd
