This product fits very nicely over my couch arm. It is spring loaded so when you pull out the besides that go over the couch it's a nice tight fit. This is important because you don't want it to fall over. It has a place for your phone and it is very functionable. It's very sturdy and it looks perfectly fine because it's not oversized. It folds up well and is easy to tuck away if you don't want it on your couch when guests come over or something. And the color is neutral so it fits any color couch. I really like it a lot and I use it a lot. Check it out!

Fits very well on my older LazyBoy. I use it for my tablet, phone and a notebook, sometimes I set a small plate on it. It's pretty sturdy, although it does slip a bit on the pillowed arms of my chair, but is easily readjusted. Probably not an issue on a slimmer arm. The only issue is the little device holder on top should have a higher back - maybe half an inch. IPad and Phone have fallen backwards a couple of times.

I wish I had known about this bamboo chair arm tray a long time ago. There is truth in advertising for this product. There are loads of positive comments here as well. Believe them all when they say: YOU NEED THIS! BUY IT, YOU WON'T BE SORRY!I took it out of the box, read the informative product pamphlet, and within 10 minutes, I had this amazing little tray on the arm of my cushy leather rocker-recliner with rolled edges that had previously made it impossible to balance anything, with most things falling to the floor accompanied by $#% NO MORE! I love the tray but just wish I had ordered the larger size; I still may.There's a sticker on the bottom of the tray calling attention to the proper way to open the hinged arms to avoid getting your hand pinched. Lay thetray facedown on a flat surface. Use BOTH hands to pull the hinged legs apart and then place it on the arm of your chair or sofa. Use both hands to open is the key takeaway.The instructions for the bamboo (natural) tray says to use a damp cloth to wipe down the tray to remove any loose materials. I did this, but there were no rough edges at all.One comment I read said she was going to remove the tray after use to avoid any permanent indentation in the leather of her sofa arm. I plan to remove the tray after a few hours to see if that is a likely problem for me. At this point, it's not realistic for meto think about removing the tray aftereach(?) use. I have the TV remote andnotepad and pen on the tray wherethey will remain.This tray will join the very short list of things I've ordered from Amazon that I am immediately 100% pleased with.And though my first reaction when seeing the price for this tray was 'that seems like a lot for a tray', I now consider it worth every penny! It is well-constructed and looks like the chair I've attached it to: $real$ leather.Buy it. You won't be sorry.

I have very wide, but cushy arms on my couch. I always put all of my, many remotes and my phone on the arm. But, they fall off ALL the time, drives me absolutely NUTS! Plus, my 1-year-old gets ahold of them.I can push this table as far back as where the arm meets the back of my seat, so my little one can't even reach the table.It fits all FIVE of my remotes, my giant Z Fold phone, my Bluetooth speaker (which is wide and triangular, instead of tall and cylindrical), and everything could stay there indefinitely.The only, tiny, issue I have is that the arm is so mushy, sometimes I have to re-level the table just a bit. It's probably more of an OCD "it needs to be perfectly level" sort of thing. But, it STAYS IN PLACE! If my little one even tries to pull on it, it doesn't move at all. It not only grips with the spring-loaded arms, there's a grip material on the underside to keep it stable.I can't say enough about this!I got the bamboo tray, it's really well made and looks great.I don't put my drinks on this since I have it as far back as it'll go, so it's tipped back a bit. But, I didn't get it for my drinks. It would be level of I had it in the middle or toward the front of the arm. Even if I did put a drink on it, I know I would hit my drink with my elbow, or something, because I'm clumsy like that.I looked at every other type/brand and I'm SO happy I went with this one! I put it on the moment I received it, late at night. It's been there ever since.I do have the cell phone holder attached. I like how it can rotate. But, with my giant phone and the huge case I have on it, plus one of those stick-on circle hand grips that I have on the back, it only fits when it's open in the "tablet" mode. I put the grip sticker (that came with this) on gently, not knowing if it would work best in the bottom of the slot or on the side. For my phone, it works best on the narrow side. But, my phone's so huge, it tilts back too much to be functional. It's great for regular sized phones, though.Setup? You pull the "legs" outward and put it on. Simple as that.

Beautifully constructed. Great hinges to secure itself to the arm of a chair. The phone or iPad holder has square corners whereas I would have preferred it rounded like the table.Overall it’s what I wanted for small living space.

First off, this was incredibly easy to prepare for use. In fact, the hardest part was opening the extremely well thought out packaging. Everything was well and tightly wrapped and packed and arrived in pristine condition. The little device holder installed in a minute, and the appropriate Allen key was included.The clips are well made, and fit tightly to the sofa arm, and provide a stable surface that does not shift with use. It keeps everything right within reach, and I’ve used it to hold coffee, knitting accessories, and the stand for cell phone/iPad is just right for me to play audiobooks.I was expecting something useful, yes, but this has exceeded my expectations. I like the clean natural bamboo finish. Just to let you know, this tray table remains stable even when my cat jumped up to investigate. Cat approved.
