I bought this for my twin great grandsons who were three at the time. They loved the video Johnny who is an Ape that plays the piano and sings. Their favorite video ever! So bought this for them to play along with him. When I unpacked it and saw it was all plastic I thought well if they play with it for a few months that would be okay. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this is made. It has held up for a year with three-year-old twins and a one-year brother banging on it. It plays music, records, and you can make your own music, it has a microphone and a stool. The assembly is easy and quick. After a year of hard use, it is still in great shape and going strong. Thank you for hours and hours of entertainment!

To start, this says ages 3+. It is more fit for a 1-2 year old due to the size of the stand and the chair. 3-4 year olds will have a tough time sitting on this seat comfortably.The mic — you have to have your lips literally pressed to the microphone. So that part is disappointing, could use a stronger mic for sure.The stand is very flimsy. Non-sturdy plastic. The middle supports pop out often too. You are better off playing with this on your lap or the floor.My child likes it so that’s what matters the most! There are some things that need to be upgraded in it though. All the pieces that keep popping off with the stand, she has made a drum set lol

Strongly recommend for kids who just start on the music journey. bought this for my 3.5 yo daughter. great value for the money - sound is great! it may seem as it lacks sturdiness, but if you don't want to use the legs that come with the piano, you can always put the top part on any table/desk. It has 3 training modes, where keys light up in the order they have to be pressed to play the music. it lights up as you go, so there's no chance of missing a key. there are also many sound effects, like drums, guitar, etc. have not tried the recording mode yet, though

The piano itself is great - it has many features and fun ways to use it. My 1.5 year old daughter loves it (so does my boyfriend lol), and it was pretty funny watching her figure out the little stool! However there are two issues that made me rate it 3/5:1. One of the buttons never worked. Every other button/key works fine, but one is completely non functional.2. The piano doesn't stay attached to the stand and is easily ripped off. If you have a handsy, I like to take everything apart kid like my daughter, the stand isn't going to cut it keeping it in place. BUT there is a fix! We bought a pack of 2 sided velcro and taped it where the piano sits on the stand and now it stays relatively sturdy. She does manage to take it off, but only when she is determined to do so.Overall a fun toy, great for learning as there are many methods to learn the keys and songs, the microphone is a cool addition, and the stool is just adorable.
