I have a regular oven and microwave but for small portions and frying without oil, this is a nice addition in the kitchen. It warms up quickly and although preheating 5 minutes is recommended, itโs starts working as soon as you press power button.The attached container and crisper plate are easy to insert and remove and later on to wash off residues. The auto shut off feature when the tray is removed is great too without wasting power while retaining original temp and duration settings for residual processing. I did not experience any smell as some reviewers indicate and was impressed with this units versatility.Far easier and quicker than regular ovens to warm up frozen snacks that require just a few minutes of heating up and in small quantities. This 2 qt unit does not take up much space on the kitchen counter and can be placed close to a power outlet just about anywhere.Well finished and looks elegant as well. The dial on top and the buttons are conveniently placed and large enough without needing to squint eyes.Recommend for anyone that needs a countertop air fryer.

Great little air fryer. Perfect size for one person snacks. Great value.The only issue we've had is that there's a mechanism between the drawer and the air fryer where a lever switch on the air-fryer passes over a sloped extrusion on the drawer. I believe this is to indicate that the drawer is fully closed. After around 1.5 years, the slope on that extrusion has broken off a bit and flatten, causing the drawer to hard to close. I'm going to try to find ways to resolve this but just something to keep in mind.

I'm suddenly cooking for one and after a few months sandwiches or a TV dinner isn't working. Cooking for two worked as we usually had leftovers for supper the next day. Only me? The same thing for three more days? I'm a decent cook but, Pass.This machine is just right for a few frozen french fries. Say, between a small and medium order at What-A-Burger. When it's time to shake the fries, add four or five pre-breaded butterflied shrimp. Then shake again when the shrimp are half done. Supper is ready in about 15 minutes.I'm still figuring how to cook two Gorton's fish fillets along with french fries so they are not mushy. I'll get there. Practice!It's not a high power machine. It's 900 watts, not 1500 watts. When the food directions say "8 to 11 minutes", eleven minutes is the number for me. It's very easy to clean. Hot water with a little squirt of dish soap and half a paper towel as a dish rag is all you need. It's a very quiet machine. The settings are easy. If you can work a Smartphone, you've got this.It's not a kitchen counter hog, it fits easily in a 10" skillet. Think of it as a small counter top oven. I have no idea how well it will cook a chicken breast or thigh. I'm sure it does a great job. I have a gas grill on the patio for grilling.My only small complaint is that I would like a handle on the back as part of a cord storage system. So I could carry the machine across the kitchen with one hand.Nice machine. Works great. Good price. A two year warranty says a lot to me.

This air fryer is exactly as advertised. It works well and quickly, clean up is super easy, and it beats heating up the oven for one or two servings of something like roasted vegetables. If you're looking for something that can make multiple servings at once, this isn't for you, but it's perfect for one or two people.So far I've used it mainly for roasting vegetables, for which it works quite well. I've also used it to bake frozen biscuits, to heat up and cook frozen fish, and to heat up and brown frozen samosas. With preheating, I'm done in under 20 minutes.It's taken a little trial and error to find the exact time and temperature I want to use for different items, but that's been easy enough to do. I want more information about cooking specific items than the brochure gives, but there are quite a few options on the internet if you're wondering about a particular item or recipe. Next experiment will be homemade goat cheese fritters.Clean up is simple: let it cool, put some hot soapy water in the basket with the grid, wash and rinse. The inner surfaces are non-stick so they clean quite easily. It can also go in the dishwasher but it's easier for me to just hand wash it and put it back in the air fryer.I've only used the air fryer mode and the bake mode. I haven't tried reheat or roast.It takes up a relatively small amount of counter space, which is important to me because my counter space is limited. It has a roughly 8" by 7.5" footprint.The cost was great, about $25.Safety issue: please note that you have to either put this where it has at least 5" air circulation on all sides and on top, or be able to pull it out to a position where it has that. I do the latter and then just push it back into its space on the back of the counter when I'm done. I also don't leave it plugged in when I'm not using it, but I don't believe that was in the safety instructions. It's just my preference.If you're looking for a small efficient air fryer, I highly recommend this one.
