Loved this bassinet initially. However with one month of use the mattress bent and sagged really dangerously in the middle. Now it is an unsafe sleep environment. Really disappointed as I have disposed of the box and unable to return

I was evangelical about this bassinet, it’s big, you can move it a bit, mesh sides, just perfect. After every day use for my newborn of about 2 months it started to sag in the middle! It was a huge bummer as it was unsafe sleeping environment. Ultimately I had to return it, as if seemed defective. If it stayed flat I would have kept it as I really really liked it before that.

I got for my soon to come grandchild. The good stuff...*I like the mess sides. Cooler for the baby and Mom and Dad can see him/her.*The no tool assembly takes just a few minutes. Everything snaps together.*The rubber feet will stay in place on wood and tile floors.*It's a good neutral color. That's good since we don't know if it will be a boy or girl. The not so good stuff...*The bassinet doesn't exactly just fold up flat in no time like the ad lead me to believe. It's a little more involved. You have to remove the legs, but that only takes a couple minutes.*This is pretty much a no frills bassinet. But babies only sleep in these for about 3 or 4 months. (if I remember correctly) At least it won't get worn out on the first baby!*The cushioned mattress has a weird wavy pattern. This is for a baby so I think it should look more baby-like and less oceany looking. The final word stuff...This is a nice basic bassinet. It's sturdy and looks to be safe. It's priced at about $80, which looks in line with what you get. You could spend twice as much, why I'm not sure why. I would recommend this bassinet.

This is a nice bassinet and if you're just looking for something simple but sturdy to use at home, I think this bassinet is a great value. But I think calling it "ideal" for travel is a bit of a reach. You have to fully disassemble the legs to transport it, they don't fold away or collapse. And unfortunately there's no bag/carrying case to transport it :(So, while I like this for use at home, if you want a bassinet that's GREAT for travel I would keep looking.

I know this is supposed to be used as a baby bassinet but we use it for laundry since it's basically a really large basket that is raised up off the floor and allows us easier access instead of bending over. My husband suffered a major accident that hinders his ability to move his back and this has helped him greatly when it comes time to put the folded clothes away. For me, I like being able to dump all of the clothes from the dryer straight into this bassinet and then carry it to the bedroom and be able to sort and fold the clothes directly in the drawers. It's quite heavy when it's still in the box but once you open it, there are very few parts for the legs and it only takes less than 5 minutes to fully assemble.I did notice that I had initially installed the legs with the feet facing the wrong way but it was easy to just pop out the legs and reorient them the correct direction. The bassinet itself is very light and can be easily moved from room to room. With clothes in the bassinet, it does feel a little heavier and bulky. If you had a baby in this, I would not recommend moving this bassinet around just for safety's sake.As for the quality of the materials and the construction of this bassinet, it all feels very well made. The fabric and mesh feels high quality and durable and the mattress is firm yet soft. The frame feels very solid and secure and this bassinet feels very steady and does not wobble if the legs are installed correctly. We were disappointed when we found out that once assembled, this bassinet doesn't actually collapse and fold flat when not in use. We were expecting maybe the legs would fold away since the product description does state "FRAME FOLDS QUICKLY" and that it can be folded and stowed away when not in use. But instead, we have to disassemble and reassemble the legs each time we want to use it and then put it away which we were not expecting to have to do.My brother and his wife are expecting a baby in a few months however, and I know that if this bassinet can handle the laundry and other miscellaneous stuff we put in it, it will definitely be able to hold their new baby when they come to visit. I'll also probably be expected to help with some babysitting and I'll definitely be prepared with this bassinet when the time comes.
