Love that this is glass and will not react with lemon juice like my plastic one do. Being Pyrex, it is super durable. Using glass instead of plastic is always healthier.

I wanted something to transfer homemade soups and sauces from jars into bottles or shot glasses for cute appetizers. This is a win! Super clean because it is glass. And looks nice and is very strong.

Strong, clear, smooth, heat-resistant glass. This is the borosilicate "PYREX" grandma's pie dish and laboratory glass is made from, not the soda-lime "pyrex" you often get in stores today.If you search the full name of the item, you can find some compliance certs that list it as: "Borosilicate, Type I, Class A, ASTM E438 - Standard Specification for Glasses in Laboratory Apparatus."It also fits a #2 cone coffee filter (folded slightly) if you wish to use this for pourover coffee, or for filtering bacon grease and other things. There is a stem-less pyrex funnel listed elsewhere, but this one has a larger opening, is easier to clean, and the stem allows you to fill bottles without worrying about the funnel tipping over or needing a separate stand for it.

The funnel is quite large. Opening on the bottom is also quite wide, which is great if you're concerned about things getting stuck. Seems thick enough to withstand at least a little abuse.The first funnel I received had a manufacturing defect, but I exchanged for the same, and the second was fine.

This is an industrial funnel. Kind of no-frills... and that's exactly what I wanted. Keep in mind that the tip is cut at a 90-degree as seen, so there's no drip focus on it. I would order this if you're looking for a robust, thick-walled funnel.

Arrived on time and well packed to avoid breakage. Met the size requirements - only slightly larger than the 20 year old one it replaced but more substantial. Pyrex which means covers a wider range of heat than my old one which was not. Very satisfied with performance, cleaning and faster emptying. I love it!
