For the price I didn't think it would be a quality item. I was wrong. This is exactly what I was looking for and the price was really good. Thinking about buying a couple more.

The review says it all, real borosilicate not tempered glass, holds up well whether boiling or using a stir bar. Quality.

did no come with rubber stopper. If you have a high end dollar store or fancy soap making shop you can get these off brand onesmuch cheaper. won't pay so much for a single beaker ever again

Bought several flasks, beakers and graduated cylinders of various brands in recent months. All are usable, but the quality of this flask stands well above its peers. Nice heavy wall, glass surfaces are smooth to the touch. Volume markings are within tolerance and useful.

This is a well made Erlenmeyer flask. Pyrex makes good quality glass, well worth the extra few dollars over other brands.

Excellent flask. I recommend grabbing the correct stopper which is a 7.5. On the one hand the yeast need oxygen, but on the other hand, you need to know they are working, which is best observed through the air lock. Try taking a reading when your flask is full of sludge. THis is pretty sturdy as I dropped it into the sink with no damage. The mouth won't quit fit into a fastrack, so I use something like a hydrometer to keep it from sliding around as it dries.

this flask is a little thicker than a coffee pot glass, the rim is heavy duty like the description states. the flask is 7" tall the interior opening of the mouth is 1-3/8" the bottom of the flask is 4" diameter, the flask was well protected in the packaging with 2 layers of bubble wrap and packing paper around that, the item was not chipped or damaged in any way, and was very clean. i looked for finger prints on the flask when i opened the package and there were none, great price for a great flask

I ordered these flasks for the purpose of cosplay, not scientific research. Unfortunately one of them had a huge crack which caused some liquid (powerade) to leak out and stain a bunch of my things. The other two did fine though

The flask I got with my order was marked Bomex, not Pyrex. This is one of the best erlenmeyer flasks I've ever seen! Extra-thick walled, much better than Pyrex or Kimax! xUmp is a fine vendor! If you're looking for a novel wine carafe for that science geek friend of yours, this is it! (You heard it here first!)
