These corner clamps come in a cardboard box with a pair of white gloves giving you the impression they are super high quality. Truth is I was able to see squareness differences between each of the clamps. Granted very, very small differences…and they are more than square enough for woodworking. But the included gloves and microfiber cleaning cloth give you the impression you can set up your Bridgeport with them. Not.As a clamp to square up a box they work well. The threaded rod means you have to do a lot of threading down of the clamps for small material. Slower than a square piece of lumber and some F style clamps. But they can be nice for mocking up the box/frame before glue up. They don’t provide enough clamping force for pocket hole assembly. And will move around when you try to sink the screw. I give them a “C” grade overall. They are an average value.

I live these, simple to use and insure a perfect 90 degree corner on my cabinets and book shelves I build for friends and neighbors! Worth it for sure!!!

I do a little woodworking and saw these and thought they'd be helpful squaring up corners for planter boxes. I was pleasantly surprised when they came. They are a really nice weight and just feel solid. Not like my other plastic clamps. I read some of the other reviews that said they aren't perfectly square. . . .I sure can't tell if they aren't. I'm not a professional and don't need perfection. For my use they are great. I thought the gloves that come with were a little funny. . . not like you really need gloves for clamps. . . but it was a nice extra thrown in. I'm sure I'll use them at some point.

These are some good clamps, and it's so much better that these are made from an aluminum alloy instead of plastic like some are. The holes used for clamping are a little closer together on this one than some others, so that's convenient. In fact, you can use the clamps you have for others if it's a similar style, it seems to be a universal fit. I would recommend that you pay attention to the dimensions though. It will clamp up to 2.3" do you can't go beyond it. Also, these are only 5.5" in length, so not all that large. Unless you're working with something on the smaller side, I think it's better to go with something a little longer to insure it's really a true right angle. But overall, this is what they present it to be, and there's no surprises or anything to criticize. These are some good clamps, and I'd get them again if I needed something in this size.
