It is the perfect right size for carrying the take home folders. But not too large for K student. My girl loves it, she said it's so soft and comfy.

This backpack is slightly bigger than it looks on the product images for the toddler size bag. It’s just an inch or two wider than another toddler bag I got from Itzy ritzy, and maybe an inch higher. Not a dealbreaker however as that means it’ll fit a toddler a little longer and be used longer. The style is adorable, I love how soft the corduroy is and the padding on the straps is perfect! It’s pretty spacious inside and well designed for some organization. I was able to throw it in the dryer for a few minutes to get rid of the wrinkles it had from being packaged. I haven’t thrown it in the wash yet to see how it holds up for cleaning, but it seems to be a decent quality build so I’m hopeful it’ll withstand a regular wash cycle

I love that it is great small size for pre-k age kids yet still fits all the standard size folders and notebooks. The material is thick and will last long. Didn't come with any chemical smells.The one thing I didn't like was its like a duffel bag it doesn't stay formed where you can set it down and it will stay upright it folds over. I prefer formed backpacks as its easier for the kids to put and take things in and out of their bags.
