This pump does a great job of transferring liquid QUICKLY. We'll see how it holds up, but so far, I am very impressed.

I work at a water plant and we use AC powered drum pumps of a similar design for chemical transfer. Once or twice a year, we have needed to do transfers from the back of a pickup which has meant bringing along a generator too. This battery powered version looked like it might help us make those transfers a bit easier.Let's start with the worst first, the labeling. It's almost entirely in chinese, and translation services weren't much help. Even the listing title/photo show the inconsistency. Initially I had thought the battery packs were 48v since they are labeled "48Vf Max" but the listing said 48VF (21V Voltage). Upon receipt, found the charger and the packs were indeed only 21 volts. No big deal since they seem to be sufficient, but why confuse things with the higher labeling. Model number maybe? But still not good. The second area of confusion was the red button and labeling on the drive body. Unfortunately, the english translations in the pamphlet were no help. And using an online translation services were no better. The included photo is the closest to meaningful results I got. Initially, I assumed the Red 1/0 button was the universal on/off button, maybe a safety or a constant on. But it is only a speed control. The trigger is the only on/off, then you can use the red button to select Hi-Mid-Lo after it is running. And what appears to be battery charge labeling didn't seem to have lights that matched the label. The label has 5 levels in a row. But the led lights are 3 next to the label and two to the left. In use, the middle light on the left and the top light on the right are lit. Fully charging and partially discharging the battery through a few test runs made no difference in any lights. Changing the speed mode did produce a slight change in the middle led, but I don't know if that was intended to indicate mode or just due to change in voltage drop in different speeds. There is a lever that can swing in front of the trigger to keep it running. And it works fine for that purpose and flips into position easily. But it is a bit difficult to release. It is just a flat bar so and there is no tab to flip it out of the lock-on position. You need to try to get your fingernail in the crack between the lever and the body to flip it out. It's a loose fit so not hard as long as you remember to depress the trigger to take the tension off. But making it easy to flip off with a protruding tab would help a lot. And constant running is another problem with the labeling. The item listing mentions 50min which seems about right for the battery although I didn't do a run that long. But the labeling on the side of the drive motor seems to suggests limiting to a 5-10 min runtime. At least that's what I'm assuming the numbers are there for.Overall quality of materials and build was adequate, but not giving me hope of a long life once it gets any appreciable run time. But given the budget price, it's about the quality that would be expected. Serviceable for the intended purpose for a limited time, but disposable once it eventually breaks. The pump tube is of a fairly thin metal and the pump impeller looks to be of a fairly low end rubbery plastic. Neither is likely to stand up to abuse or long run times, but worked fine in the short testing I did. Even at the lowest speed setting, I did have full flow coming out of the included hose with fairly level pumping. The higher speeds may be needed if needing to pump higher, but I did not test that. For my specific need, rarely used for short periods, I think it will do fine but won't know for sure until we do our next remote drum transfer in a few months. This is not the device for you it you have a frequent need, the build quality just isn't there. But if you want something for possible emergencies, or the occasional use when you don't want to rig out generators and extension cords for the AC powered pumps, this is a good low cost solution within it's limitations.

The pump worked once and then would not pump water after that initial use. I wanted a replacement, but Amazon told me they cannot replace it.

The 800W Cordless Stick Water Transfer Pump by Bootuu, is a very useful pump that has simple operation and comes ready to work. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – The quality looks and feels like its well-made out of aluminum alloy material. Combine that with the all copper brushless motor and this one should provide a good service life.II. Usability – It’s been very easy to use, just hook up the 13ft exit line and crank it up. It pumps like a champ and has done a great job at removing any water I’ve thrown its way. They say it can handle oil as well, but I haven’t had a chance to try that yet. It can move a lot of water for this type of pump, making quick work of a drum of water. The all copper motor works well in performance, but is on the louder side, although all these type of pumps are loud to some degree. The two 2000mAh batteries are sufficient for a lot more pumping then I ever need, but it should last about 1.5 hours using both. They’re generic type batteries that I’m not sure how hard they would be to replace when they fail.Overall, this is a workhorse of a pump that has performed great for me so far and left me very happy that it’s in my corner for when I need to drain from a drum or container. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Great pump! works like a charm testing around house and yard, will be great during prospecting trips. Initially I thought I had a defective tool, the motor worked but no water moved. A little piece that screws onto the shaft of the 'drill' tool was missing. Eventually found it floating around loose in one of the bubble wrap bags in the box. Got it installed and no problems, everything is great. No priming needed, water is moved right at the end of the stick. I love it, a keeper for sure and will be a valuable companion in the Colorado Rockies.
