No it was weak no power would not loosen lug nuts with a new battery my desalt drill had more power.

This thing is built really well. I was totally surprised at how rugged the design is as I usually get DeWalt brand products and not the compatible items. I think that this one is equally as rugged and durable as the branded product based on the feel of it. I tested it out this past weekend while doing a tire rotation on my truck and it did not struggle one bit with removing the lug nuts. I used it to put them back on before torquing up and the job went really quickly. My DeWalt battery fit onto this perfectly and after rotating all four tires there was no drop in battery power at all. I suggest saving yourself a few bucks and giving this one a shot - you probably won't regret it.

This impact driver is built like a tank. It is heavy but that mass seems to assists you when you are removing tough bolts as it seems to torque less when in use. It seems well built for a weekend mechanic as it may not stand up to everyday use in a auto repair shop, but it certainly stands up to use when needed around the house. It had no problems removing the lug nuts from my SUV, and the led on the driver helps to get the socket on the bolt in a dim garage or the side of the road at night. Considering this is about one forth the price of Dewalt 1/2 drive impact wrench it is definitely a great buy!

Have only tried once on tractor 1 1/8th “ lug nuts. Easily removed and reinstalled them. Hope it lasts!

I’ve only used it on one project so far, one quick burst on a lug nut is all it takes but I was extremely impressed by how easily it handled the rusted 32mm hub nut and I didn’t even have to run my air compressor.

New batterys makes it work for a second and stops ... also knocked the drill over on its side and the whole impact broke in half at the handle . Sellers did try to make this right but I can't give this a 5 star knowing how this product works

I needed an additional impact wrench to leave in my workshop for occasional light use. This wrench pitched the bill. It is variable speed and has plenty of torque. I used it on a few assembly projects and it worked very well. I haven’t changed the tire or taken a mower blade off, but I suspect it will worked well in those applications. It is very reasonably priced and appears to be a good quality.
