Bought for hubby, he had plenty of batteries and a charger for this, but his original drill had just worn out and he needed to replace just the drill. It's not easy to find just the bare drill in stores, they tend to sell bundles. Hubby is quite happy with his new drill.The original drill he had was given to him by a friend who is a contractor, so it had gotten lots of use, it gave us many years of good service before it finally wore out, these are good drills, I'm glad I was able to find this one without everything else that normally comes with them.

This thing is even fun to just spin and watch the sparks fly when it stops. It is so powerful I was able to drill concrete stud holes quicker and easier than my plug-in drill that goes 65,000 rpms. Battery lasts forever, I could build a deck with one use in a few hours.I like the adjustment settings for fine tuning what you need to do so I never strip screws or split wood anymore!It's on the larger size, a bit heavy, but it's not for the faint of drilling. This is for folks that know what they are doing and it can ruin your project if you are lacking basic drilling skills. Very, VERY powerful. :)

This drill works amazing and it's just overall a great drill. All you need is your own battery. Ours are used for building decks, fencing and other odd jobs. Highly recommend. Great price

After putting the driver to work, I’ve given it another star. Yes, it first gave out a few sparks and odor of hot wire, but no more after a couple of hours usage. It’s a beast of burden! Lots of reserve torque with no discernible loss of power. Still a little noisy but it performs like a trick pony.

Never had a use for a drill before, usually just cranked it out by hand, but now that I am older and have a home and projects, I felt it was now needed. Don’t know how I did any house projects without it — saves massive amounts of time.

I have used Milwaukee tools for 20 years and they have been top quality. NOT anymore I'm sorry to say. I bought a 2606-20 18V drill and returned it because the motor threw sparks, smelled and smoked. Also the speed and direction switches were stiff and hard to operate. This is not an isolated problem with Milwaukee because I recently returned a 2606-20 drill to a box-store for the same problems. As someone with technical training, this looks like an effort to change the design to a cheaper-to-manufacture product. You can guess where it was made...As usual, Amazon made good and gave me a full refund as promised.

Utilisation normale d’un bricoleur, acheté en aout, nous voici en mars et elle est tombé morte. J’ai recharger a plein 2 bateries différentes qui fonctionne sur d’autres outils et ce n,est pas les bateries le probleme, c’est la drill.
