So I finally got around to testing this out the other day. I had just finished washing my wife’s car and noticed a few shallow scratches that needed to be buffed out. While washing the car I charged one of the batteries which took about an hour to charge. The buffer comes with two batteries so no worries about the charge running out while you’re working. There are several pads that come with this buffer two of which are the sponge type applicator style. One of these is meant for more aggressive application and has dimples in it. I chose this pad to tackle the scratches and was not disappointed when coupled with a good cleaning wax or more aggressive polishing compound. The buffer is well balanced and doesn’t vibrate much and has a variable speed dial to increase the polishing speed. This is my first cordless buffer and I love the fact that there is no cord that get’s tangled and caught between your tires and the pavement. I am looking forward to doing the whole car when the weather gets better and I have some time. Initial impressions are good and would recommend

I ordered this polisher to use on my RV. I figured the 6 inch would be the right size to polish in sections. The machine is steady and easy to control and comes with a number of different polishing and even sanding pads.It worked quite well and I made it through 1/3 of my RV per battery. The nice thing was that once the first one died I was able to throw it on the charger and move to the other and e swap back. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to fully charge the battery so I had to swap more often at the end, but it also gave me time to take breaks and I did finish it in a reasonable amount of time.Overall a good value and recommended!

I used this to buff and shine my motorcycle. The battery charged up and held its life for the whole job, which was pleasant. There are plenty of pads included to get the job done, and the polisher held up without feeling like it would vibrate too much and fall apart. Worth the price for smaller detail jobs!

This kit comes with everything you need, but the polish, of course. I got this to use restore furniture, not cars. I wash out the pads immediately, but I'm not sure if that would have to be done using it with car polish. The pads are standard size so always have extra is my motto. The batteries didn't last as long as I hoped for but that's probably whyit comes with two. I had them both charged at the start of the project and just kepted on switching them out. I would have loved a third battery with a second charger. I feel if I was buffing and polishing a car, two batteries might be all you need. I had a little trouble with the motor, around tight edges. If I pressed too hard it would bog down the motor. I can imagine that this would be a problem on a car with rust too. It is wonderful not tripping on cords!
