I got this product for my fiancé who started surfing last year and he loves it. Before this product he would step into a plastic bin and take off his wetsuit and keep the wetsuit in there for the car ride home so sand wouldn’t get everywhere and he could easily clean out the bin. The plastic bin was big and bulky whereas this product is compact and way to use. You just lay it on the ground and can step on it and change out of your wetsuit then the mat turns into a drawstring bag that keeps all the water and sand inside of it. My fiancé highly recommends this product!!

Die Matte ist gut verarbeitet, hat eine Schnur zum zuziehen, worin der Neoprenanzug direkt "verstaut" werden kann. Wasserdicht war er bei mir bis jetzt auch jedes Mal.Habe ihn mir für den Herbst zum Kiten gekauft um mich direkt am Auto umziehen zu können. Super für den Neo, der nicht total schmutzig wird bzw. vlt kaputt geht und auch für den Transport nach Hause im Auto. Hatte immer eine Ikeatüte die einfach nicht wasserdicht war.

Good product. Taking off wetsuit is more and more a struggle over the age of 60. This allows a place to get out of suit without getting it covered in sand or ground into pavement. All wet gear does in and keeps car clean.. glad I have one now

I've owned a couple of these types of mats before. This one is made of good material & feels like it's pretty durable & will do the job fine. The main issue I have with it is that when you pull the drawstrings, it doesn't really turn into a "bag" to hold your things in well. All the previous ones I've had actually felt like a drawstring BAG that was holding everything in. This one feels like if I'm not attentive while carrying it, I could easily drop things out of it, because it doesn't really close up tight at the top. I tends to look more like a taco unless I very intentionally pull all the creases together in a very annoying process.

Used it today for the first time and it functions like I thought it would, primarily like the fact that your wetsuit, booties and gloves can all be stored in it and easy to cary to the shower, without dripping all over the house, for a rinse post surf. Only drawback, for me at least, is the changing area is thin and does not provide any real insulation from the cold ground. I surf in the winter so a drawback for me but still works great and I will put something under it so my chilled feet don't get colder after a 3 hour session.

What a nice product. I have used door mats and towels in the past; this thing takes it to the next level. Totally worth the money. It's waterproof (more on that in a moment), and has a fabric finish that doesn't pick up much sand. So I dropped my suit top and shorts on it, rolled it up with them inside, and dropped it in my bag. When I got home, there was not a trace of moisture outside the mat. I set it out to dry, and it dried fast. It's also big enough that there's truly room to change. One thing: I rinsed my feet with a water bottle before standing on it. That kept my dirty feet from contaminating the mat. I'll be doing that as part of the deal. So there you go: simple, effective, cheap.
