This grounding rod came with two different sets of instructions for which you have to select one method of installation. Since I need to have a particular grounding wire hooked up, I picked the second installation method (if you pick the first method then the kit includes the wire you will use). From that point on, installation was so easy! This kit includes a turning handle to get the rod in the ground easily, contains all the screws and washers you will need, and even includes the wrench). How cool is that!?

This handy kit allows you to quickly and remotely form a grounding point for many uses. It can release static electricity, improve sleep or help protect sensitive electrical devices. The kit contains a pointed 12" long solid copper ground rod. The rod accepts a 6" long and insulted cross grip rod. The rod also has a separate wire cable bonding clamp that is bolted to the rod. The kit comes with a wrench to tightened up the rod's fasteners. The kit also comes with two coils, one is 45 foot and the other is15 foot long grounding wire coils that have pre-installed connectors. The rod can easily be placed outside and the wire routed indoors to the desired grounding point.Would recommend this to anyone.
