This review is for Copper Flashing – Copper Flashing Roll ASTM B152 99.95%+ Pure – Copper Roll, Copper Roofing Roll, Copper Sheet Roll for DIY Project & Contractor (28 GA, 6" Width x 5 FT).I use this for DIY batteries as collector plates, and for the 3D printed battery housings to bridge the batteries. It cuts and bends well, but also holds its shape under normal use. For the DIY'er, this stuff is like gold. I have several projects in mind for this stuff, but so far, it works well when I need a conductive material. I'd buy this again.

I have been installing a bathroom little by little and trying to come up with very unique ideas and how to complete. One of the big things is not only just looks and whether it meets the style that we're trying to get to and that is a rustic steampunk kind of style genre. But the big thing is whether it's going to be waterproof and how is it going to either a absorb water protect things from water or age from the moisture. One of the key aspects to SteamPunk is copper and copper ages very beautifully with weathering and moisture. I ended up getting this copper as it ended up being very easy to use Bend professionally with specific bending tools for metal. This copper end up adhesion on and is thin enough with nice copper tap nails that I folded bent molded whatever term you'd like to use around the edging of our cabinet that was an old rustic looking cabinet made by my wife's grandfather about 100 years ago. This copper again ended up looking nice new and crisp but after a month of constant showering with a bunch of steam in the air it actually started to show a little age as it described. Now if you were like me I love the old patina look that copper gives and this is now came to fruition through the time and I believe it will stay like this so I actually put a sealer on top of it and a Clear Lake finish to be able to hold maintain the actual tarnishments that it has collected over the first month's time. This has gotten constant rave reviews through our little parties that we have at our place and family gatherings how great this has looked. This Collection comes with a pair of gloves to help prevent all the tarnishment of your oils and moisture from your fingerprints and along with working and it also comes along with the copper nails. If you are looking for a snazzy look with a touch of class I highly recommend getting this copper flashing to show some taste that is not the normal I suggest you getting this.

used these to add Inlay on my wood carvings. Cut easily with my tin snips and gave a great look to my finished piece.

Perfect for preventing moss on roofs, works better than zinc, though this roll is only 5 foot, so you will certainly need more to do a roof. Unless your roof is a bird house, which is what i got this for. It even comes with some nice rubber dipped gloves to prevent finger prints. I've yet to roof my birdhouse, but ths will do the trick and look great, preventing cracking and leaking which the current wood roof does. Highly recommended and reasonable price.

This is the real deal! I got some supposedly “copper flashing” from one of the home center type stores and although it was copper it was so thin that it was all but useless for roof flashing on a chimney. That stuff was more like the extra heavy aluminum foil, it lasted only a couple of years outside and once it developed the turquoise patina it fell apart from oxidation. This copper flashing will develop that desired patina outside but instead it will last for decades. This for my application this will be used as flashing around a new electrical supply pole I had installed. The flashing is sturdy enough that it can take and hold a 90 degree bend and it can be secured with the copper mail included to the wood 6x6 pole. It is about half the thickness of a copper penny. For others this might be perfect for making copper gaskets for automotive work or even for decorative copper pieces like weathervanes and garden gnomes. It is so thick it will easily support itself if given a slight crease. It would also be suitable for soldering.

Copper is a material I prefer for repair and decorative purposes. Unfortunately, the flashing has gotten progressively thinner and more expensive over the years. I have a ceramic tile project in my kitchen that is begging for some copper, and this product has the perfect dimensions at a price that didn't require a second mortgage. So, I ordered it and am delighted with the product.First of all, it is glorious, unblemished copper! I love the sheen and satiny finish—so much so that I am hesitant to build it into a backsplash behind the stove. No worries; I am over that now. The kit comes with copper roofing nails, a nice touch for roofing repair. It is also about twice as thick as other copper flashing I have seen. I really like that because I need to make precise folds in the copper to fit my backsplash, and thicker is definitely better. Finally, the company provides a pair of rubber gloves to protect your hands during installation. I will use them during the fabrication of my parts to prevent fingerprints from getting all over them. I plan to use DIY magic to give it a protective patina; errant fingerprints will mess that up.If you need flashing for a roof or a decorative project, I highly recommend this product. I can't wait to see how it performs on my kitchen backsplash!
