Comfortable, breathable, bit big for my head so I have to put my helmet on at a specific angle or it slides down and covers my eyes

I use a 3/4 helmet and this Balaclava fits just great under that. Very comfortable, machine-wash safe and does not add thickness to unsettle the helmet fit. I do not have to worry about the sweat getting on my helmet from inside. Also it offers a fair bit of wind protection as well. This Balaclava is perfect for temperatures 60 and above and I use Warmskin version from Schampa for colder days.I have not used balaclava from any other manufacture to compare but this one is hard to beat for the price, quality, comfort and free shipping with Prime. I saw a variations in the price for this item so keep an eye on the lowest price.

3 years ago I purchased one of these, and its finally started to wear out after 3 seasons of riding (almost every day). So, thought another set of them would be good for myself and my wife, and gladly ordered 2 more. Even better to see the price drop!Must have been a reason for the drop. The new material is scratchy, and perforated, like a jersey. it has little give, where as the old material was a stretchy Lycra that breathed well and fit well with your face showing or not. The new material barly fit over my head, and was unbearably tight.Repeat buyer beware!OK, after a very quick returned email, I spoke to the owners on the phone, and they have been trying to make sure I get the one that matches the product that i ordered long ago, which will probably be one of the silkweight products they carry.AA+ for service!!

I bought this balaclava to use for my custom Snake-Eyes costume I'm putting together for Halloween. I'm an adult male but I have a small head, so I wasn't sure if it would work for me. Let me say that I couldn't be more pleased with it. It is small enough that it fits me perfectly, but the material is very stretchy and comfortable and should fit most head sizes without a problem.My favorite things about it are the versatility of the eye hole, and the weight of the fabric the balaclava's made from. I've had several balaclavas over the years, but I never had one where the eye hole would stay where you wanted it to. This one does - you can make a small slit-like opening, or you can make it larger if you like, and it will stay either way. I love how comfortable this thing is. I bought it for my costume and I was worried about it being too hot, but I don't think that will be an issue. The fabric is very lightweight, breathable, and the package says it quickly wicks moisture away.On a side note, it also works well with glasses. Definitely the best and most comfortable balaclava I've ever owned!

This is just what I wanted, I work at a beer distributor where I drive around on a forklift with a windchill on my face all night on graveyard. I also go shooting in the high desert where the weather can be unpredictable. So I use different face protection depending on the temperature. I already had a double thick ski mask same shape as this, and a cross country ski mask that just covers the lower half of my face.The problem with the ski mask is I have a slightly large head and an average sized nose. With the full ski mask it can pull my nose down and be uncomfortable sometimes making it hard to breath through my nose. The problem with the cross country mask is since it only covers the lower half of my face, it can slide down in the back and again pull on my nose a little but not much, it just requires a bit of adjustment from time to time, which I don't like.But this is a thin, verrrry comfortable, version of a ski mask. It does need to stretch for my head a bit so it fits snug but does not slide around and does not pull on anything, if you have a smaller or bigger head/nose, I could still feel it would fit just fine. If size is a problem it adjusts easily however, it is easy and comfortable to pull down the mask to stay under your nose and also to adjust the top of the eye cover up or down without moving the bottom part. However you feel most comfortable.The material is very breathable, slightly warm, just thick enough to prevent a windchill but not really gonna make you warmer.

I don't often take the time to write reviews. I received this 4 or 5 days ago and have used it twice riding my motorcycle home from work at night 40 minutes in 35-40 degree temps. I thought this would help, but was/am really impressed with how WELL it works. One size fits all - fits me perfectly, very comfortable, easy to breathe through and most importantly, keeps me warm. If you need insulation for face/neck area for riding, get this product. Also, it makes you look like a ninja - added bonus. Amazon flawless as usual.
