Purchased these small screw eye pins to put on some 2.5" wooden balls for a Christmas ornament project. At first I thought these would be too small, but they worked out just great. Like other reviewers, I did end up breaking a couple of them but I was expecting that. I have worked with larger screw eye pins and sometimes they break off as well. I did not pre-drill holes as I do not have a drill bit small enough. Just gradually worked them in. Do not over tighten since when I tightened them too much into the 'eye' of the screw against the wooden ball, that is when they broke. Very satisfied with these.

They break easy but still work for projects that don’t require them to make the holes.

When I read reviews about breaking I was nervous. But figured for the price I'd give it a shot. These are great! I haven't had any break on me yet. Although I predrilled my holes and I haven't had to use jewlers glue to secure any either! (Some pieces I do for extra security) love these! And they so fat haven't given me any trouble with turning or tarnishing! Very impressed. I'll definitely order again!

Both the gold and silver pieces look very nice and not cheap. They are shiny and look very nice and sturdy and work with what I need. The containers they came in was also very nice compared to just a bag, it helps keep them organized.
