My husband is an avid golfer but because of skin cancers he needed a wider brim hat and one that would fit his larger head. He loved it, it fit great and was made really well. It packs flat for travel, in fact it came packed in a flat box. Will order another!

I have a big head and can’t find hats to fit. Thanks to one of the bad reviews, I saw this one is 25.5” for the crown measurement. It’s slightly snug but comfortable on me. If you’re a bobble head like me, you’ll like this hat. Seems well made.

The hat feels sturdy and has a nice look. The problem is the "one size fits all" design is made to fit an extra large head. I have an oval shaped head that has a circumference measurement of 22.5". I am 6'-0" and weigh about 175 lbs. Using a seamstress tape, the circumference of the one-size fits all hat measures, 24.5”. Using the draw string at the back of the hat, designed to take up the excess size difference, in my situation a minimum of 2” for the hat to fit snugly, ruins the overall fit and look of the hat. Cinching the drawstring bunches/creases the top of the hat and deforms the brim. Overall, getting the hat to fit snugly, changes the shape of the hat, and the “feel” on your head, is no longer smooth and comfortable. My wife tried on the hat and her head circumference measures 21.25" and the drawstring was not able to pull and close enough for her t get a good fit, and the extra inch of closure really deformed the shape of the hat. With a bunched-up top and a brim that no longer has a nice rounded look, it really makes the hat unattractive on your head. Lesson learned, stay away from one-size fits all sun hats. I returned the item.

The ZOORON “Cooling Sun Hat for Men Women, Wide Brim Bucket Hat Foldable Boonie Hat for Fishing Hiking Garden Safari Beach Hat” is big and will keep the sun off, but the crown is too big. An elastic cord is supposed to reduce the size, but I had to pull it so tight that the crown looks funny. I think I can sew a sweatband to the inside and help resize it, but when you buy something, it should fit without the need to self-tailor it.

This is the best casual sun I have seen. Among other positives:- The hat is very flexible, functional, and useful in a sunny climate- The fabric appears durable and rugged- The brim is very adjustable with a fabric-covered wire rim that can be moved into different positions- The hat is reasonably comfortable- The neck cord is comfortable and adjustable,- If you want to take it off at times the hat can hang vertically down your back from the neck cord- The hat looks great on most wearers- The hat will stay firmly on your head even with a light breeze blowing- The top of the hat is crushable and the hat can be packed flat- The price is very reasonableThe only negative I've found is that the hat is sized barely large enough for my large head measuring about 24 3/4 inches. A slightly larger size may be helpful for some wearers.Highly recommended.
