The previous ones I bought came in two pieces with Velcro that fastened over the top of the tunnel. These have just one solid piece…so will have to lift over the top. Previous iteration had a zipper which went the length of the bag…making it relatively easy to insert sand in plastic bags. These have one tiny opening as shown which will mean using loose sand and finding some way to get it in the tiny opening without clogging the Velcro. NOT HAPPY. Used suggestion from another review. Still had to shove sand in with my hand

Finally! The original bags were not adjustable, and the load pocket was so small all I could get in the bag was 16 oz water bottles. I do not use sand, or gravel, as these are transported every practice and sand always escapes. I transport these in my RAV4, in a cargo lipped mat, with an absorbent rubber sheet on the bottom. Leaks are no problem I just dry it out if one of the bags leaked. I use several different types of bags, some have the eco gel reusable non toxic freezer bags inside that really provide nice weight. In the pics the light blue are original, the dark bags are the new style. The new style is adjustable, has a larger zippered pocket, I could fit a flexible gallon water jug in there. Strong Velcro adjustment strips. As our club is not endowed with “real” tunnels, we use the lightweight practice tunnels. These are great bags for steadying the tunnels in wind, and with some ground staking really stabilize entries and exits and takes the stress off these cheaper light tunnels. Our club is mostly smaller dogs, but we do have some 40-60 pounders and our tunnels pretty much stay put (we are outside on grass). Since lightweight tunnels don’t hold curves very well these bags help hold them in position. I run a 35 lb border collie and she is tears thru tunnels with enthusiasm! I will say we have one competition shorter tunnel, and the bags hold it with no staking.

Was looking for reasonably-priced agility tunnel sand bags to use with my dogs. So far, I like these a lot.- They're not at all hard to fill - find the manufacturer's site and follow the instructions. Short version: Put a plastic bag in them, fill the bag, tie it closed. I was able to use a garden trowel or pour sand into the bag this way, I didn't even need a funnel. (You may have a harder time positioning the plastic bag inside of the compartment if you have really large hands.)- They look well-made, but I'm not sure how well the handles will hold up to 25 lbs of sand each (max amt recommended) over time.- The connector strap is non-adjustable. I didn't think this would hold, but tucking the bags well into the tunnel base, the tunnel ends were rock solid for multiple passes of each of my small-medium dogs - even with the bags a little underfilled.- Strap doesn't compress the tunnel, nothing to step on or get caught in - I see no safety concerns. So far, I've only used mine on grass - they may not stay in place as well on other surfaces - like artificial turf (which is slippery to begin with.) Also, if you have big dogs who hit the tunnel entrance like a ton of bricks, you probably need something more heavy-duty. But for small-medium dogs or more "sensible" larger dogs, these are a good deal.

I purchased these to replace the gallon jugs I had filled with sand for my tunnels. They are reasonably priced and are mostly effective at holding the tunnel in position. I use a pair at each end, and probably need a pair ( or two ) in the middle. My 30 pound ESS is a bit of a maniac through the tunnels. A tip on filling, I poured from my gallon jugs and it was a breeze. Otherwise, use one side of the opening as a pouring 'ramp' into the chamber. In other words, filling with sand is not that complicated. Maybe a little messy, but I filled them in the grass, so clean-up was a breeze. The construction of the product is durable. I like these and did purchase again.

Was lucky enough to get 3 pairs of these for a little bit of a price break,as returned or slightly blemished items. A simple, yet very effective concept, that yes...if you are a talented sewer, you could make on your own for less money, but I am so happy I just bought these and saved myself the aggravation and time. The triangular shape of the bags holds the tunnel in place(I filled mine with some "Polar packs" I had...easier to put in and pull out when needed, than filling with messy sand). The strap across the top does not collapse the tunnel. They look well made and sturdy, like they will last a long time. I have tried many options to keep my tunnels from moving in the wind, and have to say this is a very good product. I got one for my short tunnel with a chute, and two for either end of the long tunnel. Just have to say that I'm very pleased.

These are awesome! Yes, annoying to fill but since I read the reviews I was prepared for it. Didn't take long and now it's done. These are working great for me. A 50# bag of sand fits between the two sides for one end of the tunnel. I bought 4 sets so I have holders for both ends of two tunnels. Used a 50# bag of sand per set. I could not find another tunnel holder with the nice wide strap for anywhere near the cost, well worth the inconvenience of the time it takes to fill them up.

Pros:- Nice vinyl material holds up well outdoors.- Nice wide straps for safety- Good price!Cons:- Super, super tiny velcro opening to fill. I had to fill sand in standard sandwich size baggies and still leave room in the bag for it to be squished in. Took WAY longer to fill than any other tunnel bag. Thankfully filling is only a 1 time thing with only occasional maintenance.- Non adjustable. The 2 bags are actually connected so that it's impossible to just carry 1 bag. It fit my 24in tunnel fine, but I would like to be able to make them a bit tighter. I suppose on the PRO side it does mean that you don't have to redo velcro with your fast dogs!I would get a set again due to the affordability. But I'm also very much hoping the company reads all these reviews and just makes the opening bigger! Such a simple fix!
