I cooked some chicken n yellow rice for the first time on Friday and it came out perfect. Only issue I have is that the paint on the inside of the pot is chipping away. I used a soft sponge and I cooked it on the low setting due to being the first time. Is it safe to still use? What should I do? Who can I contact to help with this issue?

This pot is a nice size but still small enough to fly with. Great for warming up leftovers in your hotel room. Would be great for making ramen in a dorm room.

My wife's only complaint is that the socket where you plug the cord into the handle seems a little loose, doesn't fit in the snug. But doesn't seem to cause any loose connections. She's used it for soup, stew, and Chinese hot pot already.

this hot pot works really well! it heats up very quickly and stays hot for as long as you're using it. it works via a built-in hot plate and electric cord, so you don't need a stovetop to use this. because it heats up so quickly, it makes cooking quick meals even quicker and easier. it was also really easy to clean. i would definitely recommend this for college students who don't always (or reliably) have access to a full kitchen, but i would also recommend it for people with ADHD who sometimes struggle with cooking even at home. although you could use a regular pot and stovetop to make the same dishes, this cut cooking time in half or even less for the same dish (i made a curry soup with dumplings). it's also perfectly sized to cook for one person, making those quick/convenient meals even easier. i like the color it comes in and i think it looks great as a kitchen item. i would recommend it.

The COOK WITH COLOR Electric Hot Pot is a fantastic addition to any small kitchen, dorm, or apartment. Its 1.6L capacity is perfect for preparing soups, noodles, or single-serving meals, while the 700W power ensures efficient cooking. The ceramic non-stick coating makes cleanup a breeze, and the dual voltage capability is a handy feature for travel. I appreciated the safety thermal cut-out, which offers peace of mind during use. Its compact design is easy to store, and the sleek black finish looks stylish on the counter. While the size is ideal for light meals, it might not suit those cooking larger portions. Overall, this is a reliable and functional mini cooker for quick and simple dishes, delivering convenience and style in one neat package.

I’ve gotten pretty good at cooking meals in hotel rooms with usually nothing but an electric kettle and a microwave. That typically means, microwave burritos, prepared items that can be warmed up or instant soups, since you can’t exactly heat up your tomato soup in a coffee pot. I got this electric hot pot to add a new dimension — it allows me to warm up canned soups, sauces, beans and more. It’s a nice size, able to easily handle a can of soup. It’s got a non-stick surface, which makes for easier clean up. Great for dorms, I suppose, but not sure it gives you quite enough room or versatility for well balanced meals over the long haul. It’s portable and easy to tote around, but I wish there was a travel bag or something to make that even easier. As it is, I’ll be leaving it in the box so I can toss it into the car whenever a road trip is impending. Says it has a thermal cut-out and fuse protection to prevent overheating, which seems like would also limit the possibility of fires, etc., so that's handy. Comes in a few different colors, but I definitely like the slate blue best. Looking forward to testing this bad boy out at my next sub-par hotel experience. A nice quality product for the price.
