You Need to cook your twice and cook only 4 or 5 at a time and then they are only soft boiled not hard boiled

It's okay. The egg piercer tends to crack the egg instead of putting a small hole in it. The measurements for water is also slightly off. The hard line give you a medium egg. But with adjustment made it works.

I have never had an electric egg cooker before and I am super impressed with the ease of use of this one. I like boiled eggs, but I don't like making them. This little machine makes it so much easier.They include a small cup with different measurements on it so however much water you put in the base determines whether the eggs will be soft-boiled or hard-boiled . The big downside of this is I have to keep track of that tiny cup now.But the big upside is when the water that you put in evaporates the egg cooker automatically shuts off. This is great so that you can walk away and not worry about it continuing to cook.It's very easy to use and most importantly I'm eating more eggs.

This egg cooker works great.It is fast convenient and easy to clean.It has different setting for your personal preferences.It helps my love for deviled eggs that much easier to accomplish.The price seems reasonable for the quality, effectiveness and convenience.I would recommend.

This little egg cooker worked better than I expected it to! It was easy to set up and use and comes with the little measuring cup you need to add the correct amount of water. I wanted definitely hard boiled eggs and let it go for about 15 minutes. The eggs came out as cooked as I wanted them to be, but I found the whites to be a little softer than I'm used to so peeling the shells off was not as easy as I would have liked. That could be older eggs or some other issue, but I usually don't have that issue when I cook them in a pot on the stove. Still, this little egg cooker would be great for smaller spaces, such as a dorm room. It also comes with what the instructions call an omelet pan but there is no information in the instruction on how to actually use it so it'll be trial and error. Would make a great gift.

This egg cooker is almost perfect, but unfortunately, they missed the mark on a pretty important detail, making me question whether to give it 3 or 4 stars! On the plus side, it's incredibly versatile, coming with both a poaching tray and a hard-boiling tray with perfectly sized notches. I was even able to use XL eggs without any issues! It heats up super fast, cooking eggs in no time, and the cool-touch exterior and handle make it safer to handle and easy to use.However, there's a major safety concern that can't be ignored. While it has an auto-shut off feature when it boils dry, it inexplicably turns itself back on after a while. This can lead to burnt eggs and potentially even a fire hazard. You absolutely cannot leave this unattended; every time it shuts off, you have to be right there to manually switch it off to prevent it from turning back on. This flaw is a real deal-breaker, and it's such a shame because this egg cooker is otherwise fantastic. It would easily be a 5-star product if it weren't for this issue. Because of this, I can only give it 3 stars.

I was really looking forward to making a full dozen eggs with this (since that's the capacity and we love boiled eggs here), but unfortunately an important piece is missing that would allow me to do that. The missing piece is the upper shelf that holds the top layer of eggs and also the little steaming basket.Luckily the lid still fit the bottom layer, although I don't know if that will eventually wreck how it works due to the lid being so close to the heat plate.We only get large size chicken eggs, so I wasn't sure if all 6 would fit on one layer. Luckily they do fit, although crowded. For the first attempt I only used 3 eggs and set it to medium-boiled, but the eggs came out a barely cooked gloppy mess. I assume that's because I used colder than room temperature eggs. I cooked the same eggs a second time using a slightly lower than medium setting, and that second run-through of the eggs made them turn out good, although hard-boiled but not overcooked.One thing you should know is about the auto-off, which is a big reason I ordered this. It's not digital but rather has a toggle switch, so either on or off. When the machine's timer was done, the "ON" light turned off, even though the switch was still set to ON. There was no ding or any other indication, just the light turning off. I let them sit for a minute or two in the cooker, and when I went to take them out, I saw the light had come back on, all on its own!I didn't wait around to see if the unit was heating up again. I quickly turned the switch OFF and removed the eggs.This bothers me. Will it heat back up again when the light turns on? If it doesn't stay off, how will I know without babysitting it if the eggs are done? Such a nifty machine, but now I'm not sure if I can fully trust it.I do like the machine so far in spite of those flaws, but I'm terribly frustrated that there wasn't any quality control when putting the parts in, and I'm missing an important piece. Without that, I can only give half of a review. I don't know how well it cooks the top layer of eggs (if at all) compared with the bottom layer, which is so close to the heat source.For all the reasons I listed, I have to give this 2 stars.
