I have always used CONTINENTAL DURASKIN TIRES on my CARBON FIBER TREK ROAD BIKE with 50 mm CARBON FIBER RIMS. The CONTINENTAL 40mm PRESTA VALVE EXTENDERS I just received FIT my CONTINENTAL TUBES “PERFECTLY!!!” 💥💥💥💥💥

Simple installation. The extension does extend the presta valve making filling/adjusting air pressure much easier. That's good because I need to fill/adjust air pressure much more often since the extension fails to fully seal where it attached to the original valve.Pressure needs to be filled every other day, losing more than 50% of pressure in that time.I've only used one of the extenders so I can't comment on the second. But at a minimum, one fault out of two is an unsatisfactory outcome.Give it a meh.

Does the job very well. I have 50mm deep wheels so was struggling to get tubes with long enough valves. I can now buy standard tubes and fit these instead. They take a couple of minutes to install and it’s really easy. No leaks yet however I’ve used ptfe tape around the threads as some people recommended.

This is a terrific product. My wheels have deep rims, and the tube for my front wheel only comes with a 40mm valve stem, which makes it difficult to get a good seal with the pump. I bought the 20mm valve extender and installed it with no problem in about 10 minutes. As suggested in several Youtube videos, I used a little bit of Teflon plumber's tape on the threads to ensure a good seal. Now, the pump engages with no problem, and the valve does NOT leak at all. I should have done this a long time ago.

I am sure you, like me, are thinking... do I really need this?I am also sure you, like me, learned that there's a specification on a tire tube that tells you the length of the presta stem. So I regret to inform you... yes it's necessary if you, like me, bought tubes with too short of stems and realize it is not worth shipping the tubes back.Super easy to install. I had the Park Tool VC-1 tool but the included little wrench works fine. I used the included wrench to install the main cylinder. All hand tight and haven't noticed any leakage.I am almost certain I can use them on the spare tube when the time comes (since I have 3 tubes but only two extenders).

As long as you remember that these work only on tubes with removable cores, these are great. Try them out at home before you ride. Simply remove the valve core, screw these in, and put the valve core in the extender. Voila! They are well made and come with the mini, plastic valve core wrench. If you find a good deal on tubes with short stems with removable cores, these might come in handy, or if you have deep aero wheels that require an extension, these can help. Better to buy the right length stem to begin with.

Don't waste your money and give yourself aggravation using any valve extenders that dn't have this feature of actually moving the valve. The ones that just screw on to the end of your valve and rely on pressure to open the valve are a royal pain in the butt compared to these guys. Never had a failure with this brand or its harder to fine equivalent from Zipp. Multiple failures with other extenders that close the valve or don't seal wells etc. Get these and give yourself some peace of mind. (You'll need to buy tubes with a removable valve core, which cost a couple bucks more...but you're riding Zipps or some other expensive wheel if you need these, so quit complaining about a couple bucks for a decent tube!). :-)
