I already had a bad experience with a general replacement, so I opted for what I thought was an EXACT replacement. It was close enough I guess. First, I noticed it didn’t have push on terminals. Then it didn’t have the nifty way of the wiring entry and clamp the old one had, just two holes.

Installed and adjusted to matchy tank pressure ratings and instantly fired it up and got back to work. No flaws as of yet and it's been two weeks

The pressure switch on my 22 year old Husky air compressor burned out after the capacitors on the motor went bad and it was drawing huge current just sitting there humming so I went searching for a replacement. I found a source that claimed to have the exact replacement but wanted 80 bucks for it so I decided to try one of these which is the same brand and less than half the price. It fit perfectly although I had to use the unloader valve from the original unit which mated correctly to the plastic tubing with the actuating pin that came with this new switch. I also had to add some cable clamps which were built into the original switch to secure the power cables into and out of the unit. It all went together pretty smoothly, looks like it belongs there and my compressor is working perfectly once more. I hadn't realized how much I rely on that thing until it stopped working!

I only needed the unloader valve but the assembly seemed complete and working.

I was reluctant to buy this switch to replace the Square D that was original equipment on my compressor because Square D pressure switches are ubiquitous and seem to be the switch to have. However, since the Square D has a flimsy on/off switch which failed and forced me to buy a replacement, and the Condor looked like a more substantial switch, I took the chance. I have no regrets at all. The pressure switch was easy to install and works as well as the original equipment. Plus, I an confident that the actual switch mechanism (that the user uses to turn the compressor on and off regularly) will fast far longer than the flimsy switch on the Square D. And it costs less than the Square D. No brainer.
